Report finds previous Liberal government’s hydro contracts cost customers billions – February 14, 2019,

The Liberal party which prior to the creation of Justin Trudeau was a center-Left Political party, Center Left equates to Corporatism which is why the NDP(The New Democratic Party) exists in the first place. Center Left in economic terms means that the government in certain respects will pick winners and losers, this is why the words “Liberals” and “scandal” is almost synonymous at this stage. Clearly, based on the actions of current Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, he’s of the assumption that as a 2nd generation politician he is entitled to pick and choose who he deems worthy of taxpayer dollars.

Personally, I don’t think Justin Trudeau, Liberals or the NDP consciously see the money they spend as taxpayer dollars. The NDP also chooses winners and losers, whoever the NDP prefer turning large private sector projects into State-owned enterprises, which is why in the province of B.C they’ve even turned car insurance into a Crown Corporation. It’s this type of extreme progressivism that differentiates the NDP for the Liberals.

The Liberals tend to fund or subsidies big corporations while the NDP would rather nationalize corporations. Ratchel Notley whose the current Premier of Alberta has been entertaining the idea of supply management for Albertan oil, that amongst other nationalistic projects where she hopes socially engineer the thinking of Albertans has led to a large segment of the Albertan population seeing her as incompetent.

But the truth is Leftist, are incompetent, it’s impossible for them to be competent because they’re trying to micro-manage the entire economy. For every action, there’s a reaction, the assumption when a leftist makes legislation that picks winners and losers is that the loser simply disappears and that the winner will make the situation less complicated, but the legislation doesn’t change human behavior. Humans and/or corporate entities want more and more power, the type of power that drives a person is irrelevant, power is power and once an entity gets a taste of power afforded to them by Government via legislation and regulation that person or entity is going to fight to retain that power, via similar means.

The free market cures greed with deflation, this is why prior to price controls and central banking most economic crashes were deflationary. Well, since central banking and the government intervening into the economy the world has only experienced inflation and what’s happening to Canada, unfortunately, is that the winning sides are making a lot of money because they’ve been given monopolistic powers for extended periods of time. Being that BC throughout the years has been Progressively run either by the Liberals or the NDP, both sides of the Political left are arguing about whether the government should fund or subsidizes the Private sector(Liberals) or if the Government in this instance the BC government should legislatively turn BC’s hydro into a State-owned endeavor?

At this point quite frankly, it’s only a matter of time until all of this nonsense implodes, part of the reason why I support the People’s Party of Canada is that at the very least I’d like alternative information to be presented to the Canadian public. Based on my research most Canadians have no idea what’s happening behind the scenes, nor are many of them interested. The problem with Central Banking and Keyesnian economics is that once the crash occurs there’s no way to stop it, price controls like minimum wages, rent control legislation and regulations which artificially raise the barrier to enter into a business or profession cost society options.

So let’s say minimum wages are $12 per hour in a Canadian province, if a new job creator creates widgets whose prices in the free market don’t allow him/her to make a profit while paying an employee $12 an hour that business won’t exist in Canada, which of course increases Canada’s need to import things it would otherwise manufacture domestically. This, of course, equates to fewer options for consumers, and fewer jobs for people, furthermore if something isn’t manufactured here, it will take years to train someone on how to do it. Think about this for a second, how many Canadians do you know that can actually make and manufacture shoes?

From the Leftist perspective these regulations on the flipside might make the products and services in existence more efficiently run for a period of time, however as unions and special interest groups hover around the government mandated monopolies it’s only a matter of time before a State-owned enterprise like The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) becomes bloated and slow to react to changes. Furthermore, once the government creates a monopoly the employees of that monopoly will inevitably seek to enrich themselves even more, and why shouldn’t they? The government gave them the power to do so.

Personally, based on my research a lot of Canadians like government monopolies, but there are also a lot of Canadians that don’t, my problem and what I want to know about are the people that don’t understand the Political Right side of the argument, because we’re living under Pierre Trudeau’s Canada, there are millions of Canadians that don’t understand the Political Right side of the argument, it’s hard for them to even comprehend what we’re talking about and this scares me because when the Canadian economy crashes and that time is getting closer, I fear that Canada will make the same mistake Argentina made, which is more nationalization. Once the Canadian economy passes that 30% mark, meaning once 30% of the Canadian public work or are dependent on the Government in some capacity, what ends up happening is a currency crisis.

Once a country stops manufacturing things, that country has a huge problem. below is the CBC explanation of what’s happening with BC Hydro contracts. What bothers me about the report is that it clearly shows political favoritism, which is something that really bothers me, read it for yourself.
