Robotics and Automation don’t mesh well with Socialism, Robots aren’t taking jobs Western Governments Are Destroying Jobs and Socially engineering Society – February 27, 2021,
Despite what some people think, Socialism predates communism, Socialism existed long before Karl Marx wrote the communist manifesto which in actuality was a book dedicated to workers’ rights to get an above-market wage. Communists are against deflationary wages, which is indeed in most people’s minds the flaw in capitalism.
Believers in a market economy, believe in finding ways to make things cheaper and more efficient, which in the end could result in job losses for wage earners. The real problem wage earners have is that they’re looking for ‘Job security’ this search for job security in time creates a WELFARE STATE.
Now, when Karl Marx wrote the Communist Manifesto he didn’t imagine that robots would actually make the means of production more efficient for workers which in turn would make their QUALITY of life better. Furthermore, Socialists just like their communist cousins for whatever reason believe that the government is filled with angelic people who are smarter than everyone else.
This combination of stupidity lends itself to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. If you follow Elon Musk and his company Tesla, you’d quickly learn the challenges Elon faces with automation and big governments. Now without a big government, Tesla would be worthless, but because of the big government, Elon is being forced to find cheaper labour in China.
People forget the main reason electric cars haven’t dominated the roads today is because of the government’s UNIONIZED workforces artificially raising the costs for everything. Once the unionized workforce gets a pay raise those wages never go down, they go up, not only do wages of unionized workers go up but these public and private sector unionized workers also demand they get social security.
These additional costs on the private sector and the government create a perpetual environment of mal-investment. As an example a new electrical grid can’t be built because pensions have to be paid, young people can’t buy homes at deflated values because central banks have to prop up mortgage prices and automation jobs aren’t being addressed, because public teachers and the unions that represent them aren’t qualified to train students on how they can benefit from automation.
Via the minimum wage law and other government-enforced regulations, most job creators wouldn’t dare expose students to automation jobs in fear of the costs to their company during their startup phases. So, what tends to happen is most automation companies go big and only hire the best and brightest students, why this matters is because prior to public schools most people learned via APPRENTICESHIPS.
Being an apprentice is nothing more than being exposed to something early in life and witnessing its development and evolution. So if let’s say public schools are teaching students about the popular political subjects of the day, if those students don’t have parents or guardians teaching them tangible skills that will prepare them for the real world, then most of those students will be left behind or gobbled up by automation.
You see the problem with socialists and communists is that they’re short-sighted and greedy. Leftists put more value in money than they put into the innovations that give that money any value. You’ll notice a theme with leftists that always revolve around confiscating money from one group and giving it to another group.
Sure no problem, but if you don’t understand automation, you don’t understand automation. If I can’t fix my car, it doesn’t matter how much money I have, I’m still at the mercy of the mechanics. One of the reasons for the rise of the Chinese Communist Party is that the Communist Party understands the value of ‘made in china’.
A lot of products we in the Western world have wouldn’t be possible with the Chinese, so why then hasn’t the Chinese Communist Party taken over the world? Because why should they? once you’re dependent on someone one it doesn’t matter how much money you have, you’re still dependent on them.
I view automation in the same manner if you comprehend the greed of lazy individuals who want to be compensated for being unproductive or people who want to take more from the system than they’re putting into the system, well the reality of the situation is those people and potentially their descendants have their day of reckoning coming.
The old Grasshopper and Ant fable. Politicians are nothing more than glorified salespeople and the faster you figure this out, the faster you’ll understand how you can be the beneficiary of the coming automation economy. Because n case you’re not paying attention, once you understand robotics (I’ll use some javascript terminology to save time) the ‘if, else’ statements of things you’ll see that Leftism is already dead, it’s just a matter of when will people will catch up
Automation isn’t killing jobs, the government is, even with automation, jobs are still being OUTSOURCED, why? Because of the governments!
