Canada’s compromised Prime Minister has just allowed Chinese electric vehicles into the Canadian marketplace. For context, and you can research this on your own, electric vehicle sales in China have not only plateaued, they have declined. China has electric vehicle graveyards across the country.
To add insult to injury, Chinese media is now allowed to propagandize Canadians because Mark Carney signed a letter of intent for cooperation between Destination Canada and the China Media Group. What this means is that Mark Carney will allow Chinese propaganda on Canadian airwaves.
This means that as Chinese junk floods the Canadian marketplace, Canadians will be told that this garbage is the best thing since sliced bread.
All of this Chinese trash that is about to flood the Canadian marketplace, along with Canadian politics, is going to ruin many things. Chinese Communist propaganda will saturate Canadian media. If you think Canadian media is bad now, give it a few months. It is about to get far worse, as Mark Carney has effectively opened the door to Chinese propaganda in Canada.
Propaganda and Government Incompetence
You should also be concerned about your private information. China will exploit our federal government, which is already lazy and severely lacking in competence. Readers should remember that Justin Trudeau’s gender neutral cabinet framework is still being enforced. This means many people in Carney’s current government are not there because they are the best candidates for the job, but because they satisfy a government quota.
That is not how the Chinese Communist Party operates. In China, engineering is practically a prerequisite for party membership because social engineering is central to how the system functions. This is why Chinese communism differs from Cuban communism.

As a Protestant, I left the Catholic Church because of its centralization and how its leadership has historically reshaped Christianity to fit its own structure.
Catholicism is highly centralized, and when you combine that with a bureaucrat like Mark Carney, you get someone with little real world private sector experience. Mark Carney is the academic we were warned about. He has the academic resume and passes exams, but put him in the arena with seasoned private sector professionals and he will always get the short end of the stick.
For example, Catholic culture often encourages deference to authority, which can lead to naivety regarding the intentions of adversaries. That mindset is dangerous in high level negotiations.
Christianity, Voluntary Faith, and Censorship
As Protestants, those of us who read our Bibles understand that giving your life to Christ is a voluntary act. Those who are not Christian should be loved as they are, not as we want them to be.
If I meet an atheist Chinese person, I love them as my neighbor exactly as they are. I do not force my beliefs on them. I make it clear that I am a Christian and stand for Christian values, but I respect their right to be who they are.
Jesus Christ already told us what to expect from non believers. He was censored, killed, and silenced because He told the truth and His opponents had no rebuttal. They still have no rebuttal. If you do not read the Bible, you might think Christianity teaches submission. It teaches the opposite. Christianity teaches initiative, foresight, and responsibility.
Faith, Freedom, and Governance
Yeshua gave us the ability to see forward, build institutions, and create stable systems of governance based on property rights. Loving your neighbor as yourself does not mean sacrificing yourself to tyranny. It means understanding others while maintaining boundaries.
Catholicism relies heavily on hierarchy, which creates built in bureaucracy. Jesus set us free. He did not want us to recreate ancient Israelite governance or centralize authority under religious institutions. Most of Christ’s healing happened outside the church, not inside it.
The governing powers of His time hated Him. He was a threat to both the Roman Empire and the Jewish establishment because He spoke with authority never seen before. That is the Christ I serve, an innovative God who bows to no one.
Submission to Power and Modern Parallels
When I see Mark Carney bowing to the Chinese Communist Party, it reminds me why Protestants left the Catholic Church in the first place. Rome became corrupt when governance drifted away from God. Power without accountability always decays.
God gives us choice. People are free to be atheists if they want. But as Christians, we must be wise enough not to voluntarily submit ourselves to be ruled, owned, or controlled by people who openly reject the God we believe in. They hate Christ and everything He represents.
They do not want a free market of ideas. They want submission. Mark Carney is clearly in a submissive posture toward the Chinese Communist Party. He is a weak man.

Chinese software is particularly dangerous because it must comply with Communist Party oversight. That means monitoring systems, kill switches, and surveillance capabilities are built in by design. This leads to poor quality control and reckless engineering.
Trying to appease the Chinese Communist Party is impossible. The incentive structure encourages companies to extract as much money as possible while remaining politically protected. We have now allowed that mindset into Canadian media and markets.
