Secured Credit Cards That Report To The Credit Bureau

Secured Credit Cards That Report To The Credit Bureau

In terms of finding the best Secured credit card in Canada your best option in my opinion is going with Capital one. The other option in Canada could be the Home Trust secured visa Card but the minimum deposit amount is currently $1000 CAD which if you just filed for bankruptcy or you have bad credit might be hard to come by. Capital One on the other hand has a minimum deposit of $300 CAD the whole process might take a few weeks for you to get your card and think you have to be discharged of bankruptcy or insolvency before getting accepted. If you have bad credit and never filed for bankruptcy Capital One is still the superior credit card lender in Canada.

Things to watch Out with Capital One is if you go over you minimum balance they will charge you $29.00 and if you go over twice those charges will pile up. They give three passes if this occurs call them and also while you are calling them make sure you deposit the at least $40 into your capital one master credit card. Capital one does report and can help you establish or re-establish your credit. All capital One Secured credit cards in Canada have annual fees of about $59.

Secured Credit Cards That Report To The Credit Bureau in the United States

In the United States you actually have a better solution than capital one. Capital One is pretty good but the problem lies with the fact that Capital One in the U.S has annual fees and general fees that you won’t have to pay if you choose other cards if you’re looking for a credit card or personal loan consider checking out the credit & loans post.

$200 minimum deposit is nice, but i’d not say it’s low… some cards allow even $50.
