Simply Pathetic: Canada auto workers seek a boycott of GM vehicles from Mexico!- January 25, 2019
Well in case you ever wondered why a lot of people want a gold standard it’s primarily because of special interest groups like Unifor, who at their leisure prefer to skew the numbers and lie to the people they hire about how businesses in a global economy actually work. The first thing that should be pointed out regarding Unifors boycott on GM vehicles made in Mexico is that wages for GM workers in Canada and America are inflated, let’s make sure that’s established. Secondly, the minimum wages in Mexico are 88.36 pesos. As of today January 25, 2019, 88.36 pesos = $6.16 Canadian Dollars and $4.66 U.S dollars. So already you know Jerry Dias is a liar, Anyway I really don’t want to waste time on this, because quite frankly it’s none of my business what a private company does, as long as Canada doesn’t nationalize GM they can say whatever they want.
