Warning to the general public and all Td Canada Trust users be on the look don’t click, sign or enter any personal information when you see this email. The subject in the email i received said the following

The Scam message Title: RE: Security Warning From Td Online Department

The Scam Senders email address: [email protected]

Actual Email I received.

Dear Customer,

Please note that Your Td Canada Trust Online Banking has been
flagged by our system and all flagged account required
verification for Online Banking to remain active due to
recent changes in our online banking system.

Continue to online Verification Process

The image is actually linked to the Td Canada Trust Website what the scammer(s) did however is they shrunk the size of the TD Picture so that it would fit in the email they are sending out. The other give away is the simple fact of where the link is pointing to. the link is pointed to “hxxp://sales.sepahancement.ir/images/formed.php” ( i used xx so the link would be disabled it was actually “tt”) Do NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

I know for many of you this is a no brainer but what we all have to understand is that many people are new to the internet and may not be aware of the scams that are going on please forward this post TD Canada Trust is one of the biggest banks in Canada the public needs to be warned.

    keep in mind that TD does not contact you by email…EVER…therefore all TD emails are scams

    You tried using a background check to find out if you could be getting ripped-off? Could be worth a shot.
