Textdating.ca Review
Textdating.ca seems like a nice easy to use dating website but before you jump in and begin having fun i’d like to remind you that there are fees involved with sending text messages to other members. In case you’re reading this i’d like to take a moment to tell people that giving away your cell phone number online can mean in some instances that you will be charged a fee. Usually the companies in this instance textdating.ca does disclose this to you at the bottom of the text box.
Textdating.ca Charges
The date in which i am writing this is december 2010 so depending on when this message reaches you things may have or may not have changed but the message i see beneath the text box states the following.
“This dating service is for an 18+ audience, you will be charged at CAD $1.50 per message received, to opt out, send STOP to 898739”. I remember a few years back i joined this site that allowed its members to send sms messages to other members what i didn’t notice at the time was that i had to pay for these messages.
My experience with a online SMS Company
I was real upset when i noticed the charges on my cell phone bill. But made me more upset is that i didn’t read the terms and conditions before i signed up. When you give your cell phone number to certain companies it gives them the right to bill your cell phone provider. So although textdating.ca might be a good service to send and receive text messages from singles in your area be warned that there are fees involved. So be prepared to pay. Cancelling seems to be simple hopefully people can share their experiences with textdating.ca.

I recently tried the website Textdating.ca and it sure felt like a scam I fell for a picture of a girl that made my heart sink she was not hot like a barbie doll but breathtaking to me in every way . I sent my first text and within a minute or two I got a response. This seemed fishy cause it was 10am her time and it seemed like she was waiting by the phone. After about seven or eight texts I did some math in my head and realized she was very vague as I almost had to text her twice to get one answer . I’m a single father on a strict budget caught by her beauty. I explained my financial situation and gave her my number in alphabetical text so we could continue to talk for free or at least a fraction of the cost. She just continued to text me back as if she did not care . By the end I realized I must b getting schooled cause she kept texting but at 1.50 a message. Anyone with half a heart would have adheard to my request due to my financial situation being single father. The irony was that her description clearly stated how she has a big heart and believes in family values . Not the person I talked

i hope you get to read this. did she complain that she couldn’t see ‘numbers’ in your texts? did she have some lame excuse not to give you her number? i hope you can confirm this. this site has fooled me as well, and i need all the evidence i can get to try and bring them down.

This whole network of text messaging sites is a big scam. I have been chatting to this girl for five months and there was always an excuse to not give me any of her personal details even after five months. She finally agreed to meet me but cancelled at the last minute with a lame excuse. Scam, scam, scam. Come on guys lets bring these scammers down.
I don’t think this site is a scam. I talked to a girl for several months and she made an excuse once but her father died and then the following time we scheduled a date, she actually did show up. We have been dating since then and it has been about 6 months.
I been talk to this girl for 2 mth. And it’s same think she fells safer that she text this way . And she working on a date . Just she so busy . I given her my number and she still not wanting to text this way . What a sucker I was
SCAM SCAM SCAM! I won’t say where I work, but lets just say I know this company very well. This service is run by a moderator. Not a real woman. Picture a fella sitting alone in his underwear getting paid to send you texts. And the same answers/questions you are receiving are carbon copies that all subscribers get. Count your loses and move on
Wow it is sad what people will write when they have been burned by someone. Yes it is a dating site that costs money but so do other dating sites out there that I have tried. This is the first dating service that I actually met someone! YES I MET SOMEONE FROM THIS SITE IN PERSON LOL. We are still dating and I am not longer a member of textdating hopefully I will not have to go back lol. Good luck to you all!

I used the service back in ’12 and met my wife through it. I talked to 2 different women before I met her and clicked. Yea some women seemed sketchy but I suppose there are some on every site. I wouldn’t change a thing cause I started talking to an amazing woman, after 4 mos we met and now we are married. Glad I took a chance.
