I was on Twitter and the tweet above caught my attention, my solution to this problem is simple school vouchers, I think school vouchers would put an end to this. I personally think if a school has a particular set of rules that a certain group of parents align with then, there would be a demand for certain schools to cater to the needs of particular students. I think the problem is that public schools, public school teachers, don’t have to be competitive and can interpret regulations in a manner they see fit.
If there were real world costs, to teachers livihoods to do this to students who went to a particular school because of its openess then these problems would be minimal. Ofcourse there be the odd situation where some students want all schools to be uniform, but that’s why I think that school vouchers deal with this problem in the most effective manner possible.
Becasue the truth is some people are still not okay with this, and although many will argue that peoplewere born like this, the data suggests otherwise, the data suggests that although it’s true some people are born gay or transgendered, others take on identities possibly beause of abuse, neglect or possible mental disorders and I don’t think it’s right that we lump everyone together, instead school choice will create an atomsphere where like minded people can attend the same schools.
The solution isn’t perfect, but I do think it’s a lot better than the system we have today, where different public school regions have different laws and in many instances the needs of particular students aren’t being addressed correctly. I advise anyone reading this ti consider the benefits to school vouchers as I believe it will better address the demands of people with special needs.
I think it’s time we bring love back into the world, and the only way this is going to happen is if students and parents are given more options, with which schools they attend. It should be noted that school vouchers don’t have to replace the public or private school systems, instead they should be used so we can discover other ways to help our young people to grow into productive members of society.
Special needs for students, there isn’t a one size fits all approach to teaching or education, all humans are unique and I think it’s best that we be able to exercise the different educational options available for students. Osseo Senior High School is a public school, which clearly isn’t addressing the needs of the entire public. How wil we even know what’s the best way to solve problems if students and parents are given more options?
