How will the Trump Administration Respond To Chrystia Freeland’s Arrogance?
As of August 28, 2018, there is no new deal on NAFTA however if you look at the markets they’re optimistic that Canada and the U.S will strike a deal. The only people in the way of doing a new deal are Trudeau’s Liberals namely is his Foreign affairs minister Chrystia Freeland. One of the most interesting things about Trudeau’s Cabinet is how they’ve approached negotiations with Foreign countries. In almost every instance Trudeau’s cabinet has used virtue signaling as their means to begin or end negotiation talks.
Now I’ve often said that part of the reason Trudeau’s cabinet is having trouble with international relations stems from the fact that Justin Trudeau’s gender and culturally diverse cabinet, isn’t based on the best and brightest Liberals in Canada instead Justin Trudeau’s cabinet is based on virtue signally. This is part of the reason why in many instances Trudeau’s cabinet ministers approach negotiation talks with an air of arrogance.
Arrogance is often a sign of insecurity and if you’re not comfortable or knowledgeable about trade or the free market it’s actually logical that you would approach a barter transaction using the talks you’ve been accustomed to using during social interactions. If you’re a conservative and you hold a conversation with a socialist and national socialist, a Marxist or just a left leaner in general what you’ll often find in their higher ranks are people that view the world from a bourgeoisie state of mind.
The reason why leftist do this revolves around Karl Marxist differentiation between the bourgeoisie and proletariat classes. If you’ve never been around business people and bartered a transaction in the free market it’s only right that you’d assume that the industrious classes approach business the way those in the higher ranks of the social order approach those on the lower tiers of the social ladder.
A common mistake made by leftist, nativists or tribalism is often the same miscalculation. As an example, a White, Black or Muslim supremacist often assume that all people view the world the way they do. They assume that all people want or aspire to have the same things. These leftist types do this because they have the habit of collectivizing individuals to meet their own ideological ideas. So what ends up happening is they unintentionally create enemies by the words they say, because they assume that because a leader is saying something they attach to a concept they believe they’ve mastered or are superior too, they’ll approach that Political leader the same way they approach individuals they’ll meet at a social gathering.
Now why the free market, capitalism, bartering etc. is so important is that the needs of individuals are different. The current needs of a neighboring country may be different from the current needs of your country. The political leader you’re socializing with, may, in fact, may admire and even possibly aspire for his country to eventually be similar to yours but that does not mean that presently his/her plans for their country currently meets or even hopes to meet the demands of your country.
Now, part of the concept of Fascism is using force via the military to make other countries do your bidding. Canada has never been in a position militarily to make other countries do what they tell them to do. With that said when Trudeau’s cabinet ministers virtue signal as a means to negotiate what this comes across as is a force to conform tactic, which is why at least up to now, Trudeau’s cabinet has been unsuccessful with quite a few of their trade talks.
Today is a big day and I’m curious to say what will happen with this NAFTA trade deal, I’m optimistic, the markets are optimistic and even the unions representing Canada’s auto industry are optimistic. What’s very interesting to me is that Maxime Bernier’s purpose for the leaving the Conservative Party is mainstream news now, but presently he’s not getting any credit for it. Maxime stated publicly that he’s against supply-side management and now one of the offers most media personnel are talking about to better trade talks is supply-side management. What I find hilarious in all of this is how Trump may, in fact, get his way. Which in my view is an indication that the American voter may indeed change their thinking? What Trump is doing right now is actually bigger than him, what he’s doing is he’s reshaping politics and for Canada’s sake it may be in our best interest to consider changing how we do politics as well.
Interesting times ahead.
