Ukraine has officially invaded Russian territory; Russia is a nuclear power; Ukraine is a neighboring nation, and well, we will just have to see how this thing unfolds.
Ukraine Seizes Russian Tanks in Kursk, One After Another
Story by Kathrine Frich
Ukrainian forces have captured their third Russian T-80BVM tank, according to Tech.
The T-80BVM, one of Russia’s most advanced tanks, has become a notable acquisition for Ukraine as its military continues to make unexpected gains in this strategically important area.
While the offensive is believed to be part of a meticulously planned operation that could extend well into next year, Ukrainian forces have faced significant losses.
American media reports suggest that Ukraine is losing up to twice as many armored vehicles as Russia. However, these losses are partially offset by the capture of Russian equipment, including the T-80BVM tanks.
The first T-80BVM was captured on August 11, abandoned by Russian soldiers as they fled. Just three days later, Ukrainian troops seized another tank of the same model. Now, social media images confirm that a third T-80BVM has been taken from Russian forces, further weakening Russia’s hold on the region.
What I find interesting about all of this, is that this is EXACTLY why some of us don’t like getting involved in foreign entanglements, because even though NATO provoked this attack, Russia responded and is now suffering the consequences, Ukraine, is behaving bolding because it basically has access to unlimited resources as well as unlimited capital.
Those of you unaware Mercenaries are making around $3000 per month to fight for Ukraine, and that’s only what we know about, it’s unknown if there are any promises these Foreign mercenaries will receive if they’re successful in repelling the Russian threat.
Foreign mercenaries fighting for Ukraine are paid between 30,000 and 100,000 hryvnas ($820-$2,734 USD), according to a Sunday report by Russian state media agency TASS.
These aren’t ordinary mercenaries, they’ve also enlisted some combat ready Israeli Mercenaries, who are very good at what they do, which is one of the reasons why the Russians often look discombobulated, I believe Brazilian and other mercenaries from al parts of the world have joined the fight, so you can see where the boldness is coming from.
You’d have to imagine that Ukraine is being this bold, because it feels that if Russian uses nukes, it would force the Western World to get involved.
