My thoughts on TikTok are that we’re seeing that CORPORATE WELFARE is taking over both Canada and the United States. This bill has nothing to do with national security and everything to do with NATIONALIZING social media.
In April 2024, US president Joe Biden signed into law the “Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act”, which orders ByteDance, the Chinese company that owns TikTok, to divest it to an American company or otherwise the app would be banned in the United States in 2025
You have to remember that Republicans support this tyrannical agenda. Also, as a Christian, I have to remind people why a lot of people grew to become ATHEISTS, it has to do with the WARMONGERING nature of some Christians, who see everything as a THREAT to national security.
I don’t use Twitter, Facebook, or even Reddit because these platforms are all known to do the EXACT same things TikTok is being accused of. Those of you in business know that Chinese often use LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and any other U.S controlled social media platforms you’re on to HARVEST information about you and your company.
What this TikTok ban is actually about is the new ability of the U.S. Federal government to NATIONALIZE digital property; we’ve already seen it happen with “Backpage” Notice how after the Federal government nationalized Backpage, child exploitation and human trafficking INCREASED, to the point that Joe Biden has an open borders policy that is exploiting children and vulnerable women, and the only defense his Far-Left supporters have against this, is “it’s for the greater good, they’re fleeing poverty”
Also, obviously, this is corporate welfare, as “U.S.” companies are going to be able to purchase TikTok at a steep discount. Once you understand that, we can talk about Justin Trudeau, Canada’s prime minister who is struggling for votes and support.

Justin Trudeau is tyrannical when he imagines doing something will help his POLITICAL popularity. The problem Justin Trudeau faces is that his idiot government tried to NATIONALIZE the U.S. social media companies, and the U.S. social media companies reacted by BANNING Canadian news from their sites.
If you know anything about Left Wingers, their ideology revolves around spreading MISINFORMATION Trudeau disabled his minions from spreading the misinformation they were accustomed to and this resulted in a SHARP decline for Justin Trudeau, who basically allowed the free flow of information, which equates to Canadians now being able to get UNBIASED information regarding the competency of his incompetent’s government.
TikTok, obviously was Justin Trudeau’s last SOCIAL MEDIA hope during a 2025 election campaign, and now that the U.S. is nationalizing TikTok, Trudeau’s area’s of influence are disappearing.

Unlike in Canada, the U.S. still has FREE SPEECH, so Americans getting a stranglehold over TikTok, won’t help Justin Trudeau, so it’s one of those things in which you’re damned if you do damned if you don’t. Trudeau, has used CENSORSHIP to his advantage wherever he can, unfortunately for Trudeau, he’s BLOWN his load, as the Censorship he has control over is limited to CRTC controlled media outlets.
So banning TikTok in Canada, will likely make Trudeau even more unpopular.
