In the West, we often speak with a tone of certainty—as if we know what’s best for every nation, every people, every crisis. But the truth is, we are a house divided, struggling with our own sins. It would be wise to humble ourselves before trying to dictate the will of God for others.
Take Turkey, a country officially founded in 1923, and Israel, which became a nation again in 1948. Much of the world’s Christian population forgets—or perhaps ignores—the painful reality that many Jews were driven back to their homeland not by welcome, but by rejection. Christian nations closed their doors, and now many Jews view “freedom of speech” through a very different lens—one shaped by persecution, propaganda, and survival.
When God Judges Nations, Not Men
As Christians, we must remember: Only God sees all. Only God judges righteously. If Israel invades the West Bank unjustly, it will be God who holds them accountable. The same applies to every nation, including our own.
Yes, Israel had some of the strictest policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yes, their culture, history, and relationship with freedom differ from ours. But are we prepared to let God be God? Or will we continue acting like global policemen when we can’t even heal our own homes?
We must not mistake nationalism for faith. Our loyalty is first to the Kingdom of God, not to human governments—no matter how righteous they may appear.
Jesus Christ: The Fulfillment of Judeo-Christian Values
Jesus was a Jew. He was the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets. As Christians, we acknowledge the Jewish foundation of our faith—but we also affirm that Christ is the cornerstone. Without Jesus, our understanding of truth, freedom, and righteousness is incomplete.
Some in Jewish culture still see Jesus as a prophet. But we know Him as Messiah, Savior, and Son of God. And through Him, we recognize the true meaning of freedom: not the liberty to do whatever we want, but the power to do what is right—even when it’s costly.
Censorship Is a Spiritual Battle
One of the greatest threats to the modern church isn’t persecution—it’s censorship. The world is increasingly hostile to truth. We are mocked, silenced, and ridiculed. But Jesus warned us this would happen.
“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” — Matthew 10:22
The same boldness that compelled the early church to preach Christ crucified compels us to speak truth today. Not to dominate others—but to illuminate darkness.
Political Leaders Are Not God
Donald Trump has made bold declarations about what Israel should or should not do. But President Trump, like every other ruler, is not God. His opinion, however loud or influential, does not override divine justice.
Should Israel annex the West Bank? I don’t know. That’s between Israel and the Lord. If injustice is done, God will deal with it. Vengeance belongs to Him—not the UN, not the United States, not any politician.
“The Lord is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.” — Psalm 9:16
A Warning to the Proud and the Powerful
Russia invaded Ukraine. Gaza declared war on Israel. These are not simply geopolitical events; they are reflections of a world that has rejected God’s rule and authority. Nations that choose violence may reap judgment. But again, that is for the Lord to determine.
Let us be slow to speak and quick to pray. Let us not join the chorus of media pundits who think in soundbites. As followers of Christ, we should seek wisdom, not headlines. We should lift up the Name above every name—not idolize earthly leaders.
An Invitation to Atheists and the Skeptical
If you’re reading this and you don’t believe in God, I invite you to open the Bible for yourself. Don’t let a hypocritical Christian or a corrupt pastor turn you away from Christ. Read the words of Yeshua—Jesus—and you’ll see a Kingdom that defies human logic and a Savior who calls even His enemies to repentance.
The Bible isn’t fiction. It is prophecy, poetry, law, history, and truth. And the parables of Jesus speak more profoundly than any political commentary ever could.
Free Speech Exposes the Heart
Censorship is appealing to those who fear exposure. But God’s Word promises that everything done in secret will be brought to light (Luke 12:2). That’s why free speech matters—not because it protects bad ideas, but because it allows truth to pierce through lies.
The devil thrives in silence. Christ speaks even in the storm.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32
Final Thoughts: Let God Decide
Israel will do what Israel does. America will do what America does. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Don’t bully nations into compliance. Don’t idolize politicians. Don’t confuse nationalism with discipleship. And don’t stay silent when the world tries to drown out truth.
Jesus didn’t come to build an empire. He came to build a Kingdom—one not of this world, yet destined to overcome it.
“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end…” — Isaiah 9:7
Make Jesus Christ Your Lord and Savior Today
The world is full of deception. But truth is not out of reach. Christ is calling. His arms are open. His blood is sufficient. His Word endures forever.
Will you follow Him?
“If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” — Matthew 16:24
