WesternSky.com review – Is it a scam?

As of December 2013 Western Sky is no longer accepting applications, there was a lot of complaints regarding western sky namely their high interest loans however to the best of my knowledge there was never a moment where they didn’t disclose this information to their borrowers even in their television advertisements they displayed their incredibly high interest rates in the fine print.

Personal thoughts regarding WesternSky.com

As a company lets call WesternSky for what they are. They’re a loan shark company that preys upon the poor, if you were to ask me I would say that the interest charges Western Sky were charging people were ridiculous however being that they outlined their interest rate in their terms it should be on consumer not to sign these agreements.

Unless WesternSky.com failed to disclose all of their charges to customers I personally wouldn’t call them a scam. However I would call them the scum of the unsecured loans industry, furthermore if they resume operation in the future I would advise consumers to stay away from them if they offer loans that exceed 49.99%

Final thoughts regarding WesternSky.com

I think WesternSky is legit and I disagree with most of the reviews that call them a scam because of their high interest rate. If you signed up with them knowing what you were getting yourself into you should be obligated to pay. However if they weren’t upfront with you on their contract and you have proof then yes a reviewer calling them a scam would be justified. Personally I think people should learn more about credit and how money works before signing any loan or contract I think this educational approach would be a lot better then getting government involved with fixing peoples financial problems.
