The real Answer is their respect for PROPERTY RIGHTS. The Swiss have a small Federal government. This means that their Federal government can make up any stupid socialist law it wants to, but good luck enforcing it.
Swiss Cantons are selective about what laws they’ll spend MONEY on enforcing. For example their wealth tax, they have a wealth tax, but if you’ve been to Switzerland, it’s a joke how they “enforce” it in certain Cantons.
It helps that English isn’t their official language, so that serves as a buffer to keep idiot English speakers from knowing the inner workings of how they govern themselves.
