Is Gold real money?
Unfortunately no Gold is not real money; gold as it stands now is nothing more than an investment opportunity. It’s August 2011 and gold continues to set new high’s which too me shows that we are reaching a new economic period in history, which to me is the end of people looking as gold as money and the new age where people will look at gold as an investment. As an investment; gold in my opinion is not a good investment, our current world is one based on consumption and gold as it stands now is not something people consume.
What does gold mean to you?
I can’t help but feel sorry for people right now who are heavily invested in gold not realizing what they’re invested in. The price of gold right now is only high because of the propaganda and the media and once sell off of gold begins I feel sorry for allot people who will be slaughtered by the massive decline of gold. When this happens gold again will be looked at like an investment as opposed to be looked at as money. The laws of the land govern what money is and once the people realize that, the gold sell off will begin and once it begins people will again realize why the gold markets are so volatile and why you shouldn’t heavily invest in it.
Gold usually means panic
When the price of gold rises it’s usually a sign that people are fearful and don’t trust their governments. Economics is a very interesting topic and it’s usually something that’s based on consumer confidence. The real reason smart people invest in gold is because they fear economic collapse and in fact they’re opting out of the currencies to protect themselves from system failure. Most of the smart people that buy gold do not just do this to protect themselves from inflation. The best way to protect yourself from inflation is to invest in things people will need in the event of a system failure.
People won’t need gold in an economic crash people will need food, shelter and basic necessities and possibly weapons. Honestly I think people would protest before excepting a gold standard form of government. Because a gold standard rule means rich people control everything, war would break out before something like that happens. The truth of the matter is laws govern the land and once this panic settles down people will be back into dollars. Anyone telling you gold is more valuable than dollars is lying to you, and living by the old corrupt rules of the old world.
We should be changing the laws governing the money
Gold and fiat currencies both serve the same purpose, the only difference between the two is one has to be printed and the other has to be dug up out of the ground. We the people give both of them value. The more people opt out of currencies the lower those currencies will go. To me buying gold in our democratic system in the United States is almost a form of terrorism. America currently holds the world reserve currency which means the US dollar is more valuable than gold. The problem has never been the money the problem is the laws governing the money. That’s what people need to start fighting for.
A nation where small business owners are being forced out of business because of major corporations is something that needs to be changed. Small businesses are the life blood of democracy, corporations are needed yes but protecting small businesses is far more important than protecting major corporations it’s laws governing small businesses that need to be changed. The more business America has the more job opportunities there will be. Business people create local jobs. I keep hearing people talk about this and that but if you want jobs you have to change the laws that govern small business. Small businesses are having a hard time competing. The laws governing small business needs to change all across the board. Corporations have too many advantages over small business owners which contributes heavily to job losses.
Is gold real money? In my opinion no it’s not it’s an investment that at the moment is not worth it in my opinion. Buying gold will not fix the problems we have in this country and the sooner people realize that the sooner we can work to correct our nation’s problems.
