My thoughts on Gerald Celente suing Google for his Identity
I find it very interesting how Google has evolved over the years to the point that people and companies now feel it’s their right to tell Google how to operate their business. Based on what I’ve heard Gerald Celente makes a good point the part I think he is ignoring is the fact that you can’t control the actions of people. If Google spent all it’s time stopping people and/or businesses from doing things other people or businesses don’t like Google would cease to exist and we would be stuck with the likes of Bing and Yahoo which most people will admit are second tier search engines.
My advice to Gerald Celente
When you’re a famous person or brand there will be people that will inevitably hitch a ride to their own form of prosperity off of you. So you’re job Mr. Celente in this instance is to make it clear to your readers, listeners etc. that if people want to find you get in touch with you or contact you they must do so by going to the following places (name the places here). You must also make it clear that you have no responsibility or say in how Google, Yahoo or Bing operate their business so if people are presented information by a source other than “your website or affiliated websites here” this information shouldn’t be looked at as information that did not come from Gerald Celente or the trends research institute directly. This again is another way or avenue to promote you, better than just promotion this is promoting yourself as a victim of the system.
In my opinion Gerald you are wasting time, money and energy addressing a problem that could be used as an avenue for marketing and promotion. The reality is and every successful business owner learns this eventually, the reality is you can’t control what other people do. The only thing you can do is protect yourself and the way I recommend doing this through more marketing. Actually the truth is you can use what you’re viewing as an attack as means for stronger promotion when promoting yourself or making mention of your websites what you should remind listeners is that there is an attack on your name and if people want to familiarize themselves with you and your products or services they should only go to “Your websites here”
At the same time suing Google may in fact be a genius marketing tactic by the great Gerald Celente to bring more people to the trends journal either way I wish Celente all the best!
