I have over 50 sites online. When I choose a web hosting company I do so mainly for up-time and reliably. In this post I’ll be very upfront with you. The truth in regards to web hosting is that you should choose a web host that will be there to help you when you have particular problems related to websites you host. Because most of 50+ sites are WordPress blogs my primary web hosting company is TMD Hosting. The reason I do business with them is because to date they have been the most helpful to me whenever I have issues related to my WordPress blogs. If I have a technical issue with one of my WordPress blogs and I ask them to fix it; to date they always do.
That being said if I was willing to pay a programmer to do these tasks for me I would not use TMD Hosting instead I would use Host Gator. The reason I would use Host Gator is for one Host Gator is cheaper and secondly downtime is rarely an issue with Host Gator. Another thing I like with Host Gator is their dedicated Server plans are one of the best online plus an annual fee is not required.

Beware of fake web hosting review sites that have fake customer reviews altered rating systems and deceptive practices. Web Hosting is big business because typically if a customer chooses to host his or her website with a hosting company typically that customer stays with that hosting company for many years. That being said hosting companies will typically pay Hosting review sites bonuses and higher commissions for high volumes of web traffic.
Questions to ask your hosting company before signing up!
Before you sign up to a web hosting company make sure that you tell the Hosting Company about your website and ask them if they provide help specific to the website you want to host with them. Most web hosts provide absolutely no help and if you have any issues with your website they will tell you to hire a programmer. I’ve seen web hosting services that charge $100+ for hosting and provide absolutely no help what so ever with any technical related issues.
Some of these overpriced hosting solutions also don’t guarantee up-time. But what they will do is pay web hosting review sites to give them a positive review. So be sure to ask your web hosting company what type of technical support they will give to you related to your websites or blogs. Ask your potential web hosting company if they have any discounts, if they want your business they will give you a discount. Host Gator has a 1 cent trial; most of the web hosts pressure people into annual subscriptions I highly recommend avoiding this trap. I only recommend signing up for a hosting company annually if they’ve proven to you that they’re worthy of your business.
