Meaning of AFK?

AFK is not a commonly used term in terms of chat so below is the answer

AFK = Away From the Keyboard

A similar term that is used is brb which means be right back, none the less AFK which is the definition for ‘Away from the keyboard’ basically says the same thing so it all depends on the person you are talking to or the term you prefer to use when you are chatting to someone and want to tell that you’ll be a way for a while.
