Nobody Likes Bernie Sanders, What does a Bernie Sanders Democratic Socialist Administration look like? – February 21, 2020
So, here’s te problem with Bernie Sanders who by the way is an independent, it’s unlikely that most Democrats will want to associate themselves with a Bernie Sanders Presidency. It’s not to say they won’t vocally support him, but working inside a Bernie Sanders administration, could be political suicide. Socialism, namely the Democratic Socialism Bernie Sanders subscribes too is divisive in many ways, the problem with Socialism and it’s the reason why countries and Like Norway and Sweden don’t want to associate themselves with Bernie Sanders and his politics is that the government will have to decide economic winners and losers.
The moment it’s blatant that the government is attempting to controlling the economic outcome is the moment, investments start to shrink. Now, Donald Trump, was also a Republican outsider, but what people republicans at the time hated about Donald Trump wasn’t his politics, it was his presentation. Donald Trump is a polarizing figure, you either like him or you don’t, but similar to Micheal Bloomberg you have to respect Donald Trump for the number of people he’s employed in the private sector.
The don’t make Bloomberg’s and Trump’s’ every day, they do however make a lot of Bernie Sanders types. I know there are people who love Bernie Sanders but in the Adult world, in the developed world Bernie Sanders is a joke. Socialism hasn’t worked ANYWHERE it’s been tried. In those Scandinavian countries Bernie likes to talk about, they’re trying to get rid of socialism. In the Scandinavian countries, Bernie talks about there’s no Federal minimum wage, they got rid of it because it’s a stupid law, that punishes small businesses and job creators.
Most Democrats know this, but it’s hard to tell a poor person to abolish minimum wages or rent controls because in their minds they’re convinced that the rich only want more money for themselves. The reason why a FEDERAL minimum wage is dumb idea is that small business can’t even get off the ground, it might surprise some people, but a lot of small businesses when they start will pay the workers who started with them from the very beginning a huge compensation package if the business becomes successful. If I worked for $5 per hour and then when the small business I worked for became successful I was given a cash windfall of $2 million dollars wouldn’t it be worth it?
There are millions of these stories, where people worked for nothing to start and became rich later on. The problem is that, in the minds of socialists, they don’t want to wait, they want to be compensated now and if a Bernie Sanders promises to give them what they want right now, they’ll vote for him. The problem with this is it’s unlikely that Democrats will want to align themselves with this madness.
Democrats who will form the Sanders administration will be putting their political lives on the line for this idiot! If the market crashes under Bernie, it will be about what Bernie does to revive it, now, in the modern era even in the Democrat Party people understand how to revive an economy, imagine if Bernie assumes more socialism will fix an economic crash? How do you convince him otherwise?
Socialists tend to be non-negotiable, Bernie Sanders, after all, has made a lot of financial promises to his voters, promises that are dependent on a growing U.S economy. Bernie Sanders has yet to articulate how his socialism will help market growth when you’re a socialist or when you’re bringing something new to the table, you can’t just talk and move people around. Your ideas will be challenged, your decisions will be challenged and if you can’t articulate your vision for America, well, your administration probably won’t like you very much
In my opinion, Hilary Clinton had it right! Nobody likes Bernie Sanders except for the ignorant voters who assume economics is simple
