Ziinga.com is a penny auction website available to users in 16 countries including Britain, Canada, and USA. It’s a popular auction site especially among gizmo lovers as it claims to sell brand new and expensive items including gadgets at a relatively low price.
How ziinga.com works

Final thoughts on ziinga.com
Ziinga is a cool place to bid on different items. While they do have products that are set to “maximum” price, bidders don’t have to worry meeting the reserve price that most auction sites have.
Because of the highly competitive bidding on ziinga, winning an item can be a challenge. What’s more, you’re only allowed to win 2 auctions within14 days.
If you don’t want to kill time and deal with tough competition, you might enjoy better exploring other auction sites where the rate of winning an item is higher.

I tried Ziinga and spent $90 to buy bids I sat glued to my computer for 2 days almost 24/7 also had the bid agent placing bids and still didn’t win anything, one item I was bidding on is still running 8 days later, when the timer gets to 1 sec it sits there for 5 seconds waiting for another bid which eventually comes and it’s off again for 2 minutes it’s a SCAM don’t go there!!
I won an ipod shuffle and they never mailed it. When I contacted their chat I was told I had to scan my credit card in and send it to them Bull Crap!!!!!!!! that is such a freaking scam
I ‘won’ £100, site didn’t state what form the £100 would take. The email invoice stated that I’d also won 7 days free ‘Platinum membership’ which would subsequently be obligatory for 3 months at £60/month. Some prize eh?
I have taken steps to ensure that they do not have access to my c/c account.
BEWARE!!!
there are no pros to this site, they have literally ripped off thousands of people, they sign you up to their membership without consent or you signing, you do not get your goods and the best of it is they just help themselves to whatever they like out of your bank acccount anf then when you discover this they give you the pleasure of charging you £28 for cancelling a membership you never signed for in the beginning. they break all the rules for instance, there terms and conditions clearly state if you do not use any bids (they have remained untouched) you get a refund, my bids remained untouched but all i got was headache trying to tell them this apprantely they give you a bid agent to bid on your behalf without your consent and without them even knowing what you want. STAY AWAY JUST READING SOME OF THE COMMENTS LEFT ON THE REVIEW SITES UNDER ZIINGA SCAM AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT RIPPING OFF CON BASTARDS THEY ARE. I lost £159.89 and got nothing for that, please be warned do not even look at there auctions before you know it your sucked in then scammed.anyone who promotes these bastards should hang their heads in shame.
I agree with all of the above comments Did you know that thier email help desk is an auto-responder? Has anyone ever gotten a response after replying to their emails? I checked it out by sending them an inquiry then replied to their email, no response. I then sent a new email with nothing but profanities in it. I instantly got an acknowledgement, about 30 mins later I got a response for a totally irrelevant subject I know their live chat is real. They basically reply with “canned answers” They killed the live help phone line in Calgary Alberta Canada, even that was a canned script
We can complain and bitch or we can work together and make it a group effort to bring these MF’s down. I found out that Ziinga is owned by a security surveillance company called NIO and they operate out of the British Virgin Islands Don’t know what can be done with that info, many heads are better than one. So if anyone has any IDEAS Post them here. The potential for unethical operators to sell our cc numbers has me worried I asked my credit card company to issue me a new account #. lets find winners if there are any and see if they know how much they really paid for that item
Maybe we could go on other forums and recruit other victims these SOB’s have harmed. Maybe we could send a flood of complaint emails to all government agencies,in all countries that they operate in. Agencies such as judicial branches consumer branches, Prime Ministers, Television stations, newspapers etc Flood them with complaints, when they don’t reply we flood them again with requests to reply until they reply or do something about these slimeballs. Only a few keystrokes for evryone and thousands of emails go out with cc’s to every one on our list
I need all of your help on this, otherwise they will keep on hurting people We need to get as many email addresses in as many countries as can to make this a public headline “THE ZIINGA FRAUD” Then maybe governments will shut these MF’s down.
Got an email, says I won a camera, just send $3.00 for delivery. There was no Terms of Service – nothing. I was
waiting for the camera to arrive, instead I got a $89.99 charge on my Master Debit Card. Immediately I contacted
them first on the phone (non existent) than on their auto responder. I got an answer that they deducted the money for my PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP, not silver, not gold, but platinum, than they inform me to read their Term
of Service, which I didn’t have a chance to read before, which stipulates they will keep $42.00 for cancellation fee,
for my nonexistent membership, further more they unable to refund the money through my bank, because it was
a debit card I paid the $3.00 for. They took the liberty once they received my bank details to add to the $3.00
another $89.99 without my permission. Would some kind of authority stop them doing this??
I received a text message that hijacked BestBuy name congratulating that I won a free iPad. Since I just returned from buying a television at BestBuy I answered the link, which immediately took me to Ziinga.com. I was then informed that I further won a bid for a Samsung phone. To ship prizes I was required to fill in an account form with mailing address details and then linked to a Verify Visa form site to pay for shipping costs, which were about $4.00. Once submitted, I received an email congratulating me as a winner and verifying my account information and joining a free promotional membership with Ziinga and to view their terms and conditions. Once you open the terms and conditions link you realize you have been scammed and that they have revealed the membership comes with a binding 3 month contract to take $89.00USD a month or you can cancel and pay a cancellation fee of $52.00CDN. Upon immediately contacting the Ziinga Customer Support to report this and have it resolved you will find that this is not a traditional customer service, they are scripted not to resolve the matter and quote only the terms and conditions if you fail to pay them the cancellation fee they threaten to send your account to a collection agency. I further found that Ziinga had withdrawn the first month $89.00USD from my Visa. Ziinga is a foreign company and if Googled you will find many websites reporting similar scam complaints worldwide. I had contacted Visa Dispute & Visa Security to report the scam and cancel my Visa Card requesting a chargeback investigation. I am filing complaints with the Canadian Federal Anti-Fraud Centre, Canadian Competition Bureau and will be forwarding a complaint to the local police service of jurisdiction to obtain a report number. Ziinga threatens collection, although I have not been contacted by a third party collection agency who has bought their debt, if I am I will be requesting to take the matters before a civil tribunal/court and will be serving legal documents requesting original certified contracts, which don’t exist since this was a scam and witness subpoena’s naming Ziinga Customer Support and Ziinga reps to cross examine, etc. to date Customer Support staff will not provide any employee numbers or manager names? Continue to track all your communications. Also, you will find any phone numbers used are ghost numbers. Don’t back down or pay, challenge them and report the scam. They are making millions on this misrepresentation Internet win scam because victims often concede a pay them. Ziinga is a Malta, registered company.
they scam people out of alot of money with there lies, you think you have won a bargain until you get the receipt and then they take £59.99 a month for 3 mths membership fees, try to cancel it and they tell you it will cost more what a con, something should be done about this bogas company they must be making a fortune form people.
DONT ENTERTAIN THEM PLEASE
