Atheism and Idol Worship in Canada:
Net Zero Inflationary Pricing Comes to Canada, Mark Carney Wins Big
As a follower of Christ, I want to remind Christians that Jesus Christ brought truth to humanity — liberating us from tradition, idol worship, and oppressive norms.
Today, Canada stands as one of the most atheistic nations in the Western world. When you combine widespread atheism with the rise of belief in false gods, Canada’s political direction begins to make a lot more sense.
Who did I expect to win the election?
Pierre Poilievre.
Was I confident he would win? Yes.
Am I shocked he lost? Yes.
What are my expectations now that he has lost? Massive Inflation.
In the back of my mind, I wasn’t fully comfortable with Pierre Poilievre’s campaign. Unlike Stephen Harper, Pierre didn’t focus enough on the numbers.
When Stephen Harper ran his 2006 campaign, I still remember it clearly — his simple promise: “Cut Taxes.”
That was his entire theme.
Life was getting really expensive for Canadians, and Harper’s direct promise to cut taxes resonated. It worked.
Pierre, by contrast, ran a complicated campaign — trying to do everything.
Simple messages win elections.
Doug Ford, Ontario’s Premier, ran on one word: “Jobs.”
When Trudeau’s incompetence became obvious, many Ontarians — even some who would usually vote Liberal — stayed home out of fear that their livelihoods would be destroyed.
Mark Carney, for many left-leaning voters, is now imagined as a competent businessman who can “save” Canada.
The reality, however, if you understand basic economics, is that Mark Carney’s cost structure will destroy Canada’s economy.
But here’s the thing many people still don’t understand about Christ:
You don’t put your faith in politicians or kings.
You put your faith in Christ.
Once you truly trust Christ, you realize everything else — including politics — is just marketing.
As I write this, Pierre Poilievre has lost his home riding in Carleton, Ontario — and frankly, I don’t even remember seeing him campaign in Atlantic Canada.
That said, Pierre Poilievre did make progress by educating Canadians about the economy — and in my view, that’s the most important contribution he made.
As a Christian, I believe the only real hope for Canadians who don’t believe in Christ is financial education.
People laugh at financial education, but once you understand Austrian economics, for example, you can’t unlearn it.
If you read the Bible closely, you realize:
Evil often comes from ignorance.
When you reach a certain stage of spiritual development, you stop measuring yourself by man’s standards and start measuring everything by Christ’s standards.
With Mark Carney — like many globalists — it’s unclear whether he is acting out of intention or ignorance.
How could an economist of his stature not see the damage he’s causing?
But then again, many economists today have accepted some form of socialism as “the only path forward.”
There are many branches of socialism, but the top two are Democratic Socialism and Globalism — both closely related to Progressivism.
Progressives imagine themselves as gods, believing their actions are “for the greater good.”
Reality, however, quickly interrupts when the numbers don’t add up.
Reminder:
- Europe is broke.
- China is broke.
- On paper, the United States is broke.
But America remains the world’s most Christian nation — and because of that, people all over the world continue to invest in the U.S.
Why?
Because of property rights, which are rooted in Christian beliefs about individual sovereignty.
In contrast, Canada — a nation of idol worshippers and atheists — doesn’t deeply believe in property rights.
Without Christ, the concept of bodily autonomy and voluntary sacrifice for humanity doesn’t truly exist.
Many people misunderstand Christ’s words:
“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
Jesus had the power to destroy everyone. When he died, there was an earthquake, rocks split, and graves opened — supernatural events recorded for us to remember.
The Resurrection is crucial, but we must not overlook the magnitude of Christ’s death.
Have you ever suffered terribly for doing the right thing and wondered why God didn’t intervene immediately?
That was Christ’s moment — fulfilling his mission to save humanity by enduring humiliation, betrayal, and pain.
Throughout history, censorship was the norm.
Knowledge was guarded by elites in Egypt, Rome, Greece, Judea — everywhere.
Mass public access to Scripture didn’t happen until Martin Luther and the printing press.
So whenever you see a censorship agenda (often tied to socialism), you know it’s evil.
If you’re an atheist or a non-believer, I ask you to consider:
What if God has been trying to communicate with humanity forever, but humans kept refusing to listen?
Christ shaped modern humanity more than any political or economic system ever has.
Pricing Is a Measure of a Man’s Competence
If you want to measure the competence of a leader, watch prices.
No offense to retirees reliant on government pensions, but you helped create the Mark Carneys of the world.
Brookfield Asset Management, for example, thrives because of government spending fueled by entitlement programs.
If you’re wondering why I don’t even fully support Donald Trump’s economic policies, it’s because he also plays into greed and entitlement.
He wants to preserve American entitlements — and that’s not true capitalism.
True capitalism measures efficiency, not the worship of money or entitlements.
When people expect prices to always rise, even in an era of technological improvement, it shows how inefficient society has become.
We’re producing more junk.
We’re getting lazier.
And despite having abundant access to information, most people prefer entertainment over education.
This is the result of the welfare state — and as inflation continues, poverty will grow as inflation eats away at everyone’s entitlements.
In Closing
Canada has a massive welfare state.
I foresee the standard of living in Canada declining rapidly because the domestic value of the Canadian dollar will collapse.
When that happens, the cost of labour will skyrocket.
And for those who don’t understand what that means:
It means that everything you depend on — housing, food, services — will become unaffordable faster than you can imagine.
