Fix It Scratch Remover Review Is it a Scam
Hello I wrote this article about FixIt Scratch remover to hopefully help some of you avoid the trouble I went through when ordering products i saw on T.V infomercials. Many times people (I was one of them) scream scam because they do not understand how these things work, so i am going to attempt to tell you as quick as possible. I’m no English major so please excuse any grammatical errors, if you just want the review scroll to the bottom paragraph of the page. thank you
Shipping & Handling
Before you buy Fix It Scratch remover there’s a few things to note about infomercials and there products. The main things are shipping and handling, Shipping and Handling is usually (especially when it comes to these as seen on T.V products) NON REFUNDABLE, it’s the risk you as the consumer take on when you order a product from the television.
Importance of reading the terms and Conditions when it comes to Trial Offers
Many times these as seen on T.V products offer customers Trial Offers which gives potential customers a certain amount of time to test out a product. IMPORTANT any time you see the word trial offers an ALARM needs to go off in your head also please relay this message to your neighbors, friends etc. The alarm that should go off in your head is to read the terms and conditions & or the privacy statement especially if this trial offer is offered online. Again read the terms and conditions whenever a trial offer is offered online. If you see or hear the word “TRIAL offer” on the T.V or radio, be sure when you call the sales rep you ask them about the terms of the trial offer.
What Questions You Could Ask a Customer Service Rep Over The Phone
These questions should include
1.) How long is this trial offer?
2.) What is the price of the product after the trial offer is completed?
3.) How do I return the product if i dont want it or like it?
4.)Am I allowed to open the product and/or try the product during the trial period without being charged a fee.
there are other questions you can ask but those are the questions i ask. the main thing is you want to know what you are getting yourself into also you should get a feel for the customer service of the company, you want to know this is a legit company are they trust worthy etc.
I am telling this to hopefully save you time and future headaches. I’ve bought ALLOT of things from infomercials you name it i’ve heard about it tried it or thought about trying it. I like trying new things personally.
Before I buy Fix It Scratch Remover I want know does it work Fix It Reviewed
No complaints from me I drive a Chevy Equinox (Buy American Cars!!!) it’s silver and i live in a condo with tight parking spaces and a lot of kids who play baseball in the parking lot for whatever reason anyway long story short i get a ding or scratches every two month’s on average I’ve used others that work but they are more expensive so i tried Fix It and it’s worked fine for me. it works for my neighbors car as well he has a dodge ram and is in the Plumbing and electrical business so you can imagine his car.
In Closing
All in all to me it’s a good product but beware of the return policy I know some of you only have like one scratch and want to use it and return it i know all the games i used to work in sales. I don’t recommend doing that but those of you do – do that that’s the reason companies have those shipping and handling policies in place. Its my belief it protects the company from loss it’s a shame the honest people suffer from consumer theft. I recommend purchasing it if you plan on keeping it around it’s just not worth it trying to scam the company
Thanks for reading my post Be sure to read the offer details and the return policy at the bottom of the Fixit website
Watch out for auto shipping and the clubs that come at the end of an order Auto shipping is a scam in and of it’s self I have a friend that works in the industry and he tells me the following
1. Whether it is internet or a phone sale the auto ship is explained however it is never clear. They are trained to gloss over auto ships and just meet the FCC guidelines that keep them out of court.
2. This is true only for the 800 number call operators are standing by calls STAY AWAY FROM THE FREE OFFERS AT THE END OF THE CALL (Called Clubs). They are trained to try and lull you in by using a very monotone voice and at the end of the statement saying “OK” real brightly. People they are reading you a CONTRACT and it IS binding The best way to not mess with these is as soon as they start hang up!!
The BBB rates Simoniz USA as “A” with all of their claims resolved. So if you had issues with them you better go to BBB and file a complaint about their sales practices. Everyone who has had issues should do so.
http://www.bbb.org/connecticut/business-reviews/manufacturers-and-producers/simoniz-usa-in-bolton-ct-10001405
So the problem is that when the heat is put to Simoniz, by investigators or credit card companies, they solve the complaint which is misleading for anyone investigating. This was also done for the investigator for Regina Urbanek http://www.jsonline.com/watchdog/pi/29473529.html
However, I would guess that 99% of people who have issues are not able to get in touch with management and get stonewalled by “customer service”. To stop a scam like this, everyone needs to complain on the BBB and to the attorney general. Otherwise they will not fix their business practices.
