Alberta Separatism or Albertan Leftism Rising? Jason Kenney’s approval rating plummets in the wake of steep Alberta budget cuts – December 12, 2019,
Personally, I don’t pay too much attention to polling data, sure some of it proves to be accurate, but most Canadians don’t vote. The people who do vote and participate in polls in Canada tend to be Leftists with a lot of time on their hands. If you’re out of work or if you don’ work, you’ll have time to do a poll, if you’re do work, even if a legitimate poll calls your home or cell phone, or even sends you an email you’re going to hang up most of the time because every extra minute you have is precious. With that said, of course, Jason Kenney is going to be unpopular when he’s cutting the size of government, he might only get one term, Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario equally might only get one term.
In Puerto Rico, there existed a man who got zero credit for the good he did, Luis Fortuño, did what Jason Kenney is doing, he basically saved the Puerto Rican economy from economic collapse, but you see he gets no credit for it because he made cuts that cause public sector workers and people dependent on the government short term pain
Socrates made a great point about Democracy that most uneducated people have a hard time comprehending, the sweet shop salesmen tend to get most votes.
In a fiat monetary system fueled by central banking, most countries in the world have been shielded from the realities of Leftism. Conservatives like Jason Kenney and Doug Ford haven’t gotten the memo however that ‘laissez-faire’ capitalism isn’t dead, it’s just that the coding community is currently going through a quiet revolution that’s going to catch a lot of people off guard, what’s worse is the energy revolution that’s underway, the organicness of this quiet tech revolution is being led by coding volunteers who are slowly but surely beginning to understand the political landscape globally that’s fueling poverty.
Although the Peter Schiff Libertarian types like to bash Bitcoin in favor in Gold every chance they get, what these old fixed minded Conservatives aren’t comprehending is what Bitcoin represents. Crypto currencies represent decentralization, Crypt currency actually represents decentralization more than Gold does, because Gold can be centralized, 1 simple law and the government can ban the ownership of gold, it’s happened before and nothing will stop a politician he hates fluctuating market prices from doing it again. Crypto, when any person learns of it, unscrambles your brain.
Decentralized currency? what does centralized currency mean? what do mean the government controls prices, if the government controls prices why is there still poverty? If there are multiple types of energy, why is the government only in favor of a few, I don’t agree with what this or that politician said, why can’t people be free to choose? Why is the government picking winners and losers, I’m a coder I don’t need to work for the government or a private company. As a coder, I work for myself and live the life I want to live and help the people I want to help.
There’s a quiet revolution happening that the old word is going to have a hard time comprehending when it arrives. Clear messaging will be the politics of the future, mixed messages that will be for the birds and as the world gets more tech-savvy, old ideas will be challenged. Central bank currencies n my opinion aren’t going anywhere, what I do think will be changing is what money people save or spend, in case people haven’t been paying attention a lot of financial activity happens online now, sure a government can decide to impose its financial currency on its people, but Bitcoin is profitable, Bitcoin is global and Bitcoin is decentralized. Volunteers make the internet great, not politicians and although this article seems to be picking on Jason Kenney, it’s not, the Rachel Notley, Justin Trudeau types are in serious trouble also.
The Albertan Separatists would be wise not to take the Jason Kenney Conservativism approach to their model of separation. Any talks of Western separation must include the future of young people. Jason Kenney’s budget cuts are great, but he like many other Conservatives are paving the way for extreme Leftists. There was a demand for Justin Trudeau because Stephen Harper did little to nothing to show Canadians how his policies differed from the Liberals. If I was a common citizen, I wouldn’t notice much change to my standard of living from Harper to Trudeau? It’s only those of us active in the Private Sector that know the long term effects of growing the size of government.
If you keep your political base ignorant to particular schools of thought, don’t be surprised when Liberals and the NDP who are quite clear in what their mission statements are will begin to take votes away from you. Jason Kenney, in my opinion, is the problem with the Conservative Party of Canada. Now, I don’t think this early polling data means much of anything, but it’s no surprise to me why the Liberals and NDP have so many votes in Canada. Maxime Bernier has pretty much vanished since losing and I think it will be 2 years before the Western Separatists figure out what their brand of Western Separation looks like. In the meantime what Alberta and the rest of Canada are left with are ‘submissive Conservatives’. We’re just like the Liberals but a little more financially responsible? Yea, well, good luck with that!
