Albertan Secession, Why I Don’t care if Justin Trudeau wins the 2019 election – October 17, 2019,
Quebecers are better than us, even if you’re a People’s Party of Canada, Maxime Bernier supporter, admit it, Maxime isn’t saying anything that English speaking Canadians haven’t been saying for decades and decades. The reason Maxime Bernier works is that he’s a Quebecer. Be honest, speak truth to power, the vast majority of Canadians speak English and because of this, there’s something attractive about French Politicians.
Actually it’s not organically attractive, it’s socially attractive, I’m personally appreciative to the French for the metric system, I love the metric system, I personally wish the imperial system would be abolished in America. But it exists and I deal with it in business, because for whatever reason, entrepreneurship in Canada has been replaced with Minimum wages, labor unions, Crown Corporations which are an add on to Public Sector workers.
The bank of Canada is a Crown Corporation, the CMHC is a crown corporation, supply management, which benefits Quebec mostly revolves around a crown corporation and all of these socialist initiatives come at the expensive of Canada’s dwindling private sectors. Alberta with all of its imperfections, which even I have to argue may come as a result of them being forced to subsidize the rest of Canada, still manages to make a profit as a province!
Although, most people assume Albertan profits are derived only because of Oil exploration the reality is the province is rich because of its Conservativism. The victory for the CLASSICAL Liberals, separating church from State was hard-fought and was won via debate. You can’t force a person to believe in religion, nor should an imperfect human being be forced not to believe in religion.
We engage in debate, to come to a conclusion, a typically bartered solution between 2 sides leads to a harmonious resolution, sure it might take decades or even centuries, but war is bad for business. Economics similar to social policies revolves around bartering. When a salesman known as a politician uses his/her power to force people to capitulate to their ideology, this person is in actuality either a separatist or an authoritarian. The Leftists’ political parties in Canada have used their positions of being seen as puritans fighting for the greater good as their guise to the theft of the law-biding-tax-paying-Canadian Citizen.
Quebec politicians have been masters at playing both sides against the middle Because Quebec separatism is a thing, most Canadian politicians tip-toe on the issue of what Quebec sovereignty really is, this, of course, comes at the expense of the Saskatchewan and Alberta economy via equalization payments.

I’m 100% certain that when the concept of equalization payments was first drafted, the assumption was that when one province is struggling economically, the more prosperous Canadian provinces would be more than happy to help their Federate family members out. However, the sad truth is that Equalization payments have been used as a tool for Eastern Canada to not pay or do its fair share. Equalization payments have also been used as a tool for Quebec Separatists to play the role of perpetual victim.
Here’s Why I Don’t care if Justin Trudeau wins the 2019 election
If you’ve read more than 1 of my political posts, it should be clear to you that I want real debates back. I love peace, I’m a fighter for peace, an important part of the peace process is making sure both sides can plead their case. In many parts of the world, there’s a serious IQ discrepancy between the citizens and the Oligarchs, currently, Canada doesn’t have this problem, if you’re uneducated about the political or economic process in Canada, that’s because you voluntarily allowed yourself to be ignorant in fear that you’re ego/ideology would be challenged by one of your equals.
The Quebec separatism threat does make Quebec better than the rest of us Canadians. I’d like this to be challenged and for the first time in my life, there’s a chance that Saskatchewan and Alberta might be the talk of Canada for the next 4 years! I’m an Ontarian, I want economic reform in Ontario, I voted for Doug Ford, however, I do see how the Conservative Party of Canada is part of the problem. There’s no PUSHBACK, love him or hate him, I have to put Donald Trump in my historical figures list, based on his willingness to pushback. The Conservative Party of Canada pushes back on the terms set out by the Liberal Party of Canada.
What this equates to is the assumption by the Leftists in Canada, that their ideas, their ideology, their authoritarian views are indeed justified. I don’t hear any person in the Conservative Party of Canda pushing back against Minimum wages, I rarely hear any Conservative pushing back against, price controls, CMHC, The Dairy Cartel, ICBC, LCBO any of these Crown Corporation monopolies that make our country poor. I get a lot of hate mentioning that I believe the Canadian dollar should be higher than the US Greenback, I don’t like NAFTA or the USMCA, but you see because Conservatives don’t push back, Conservatives, in general, don’t have a voice and Canadians are allowed to remain ignorant about how the bills are paid.
Quick question a lot of people never think about, if a Private business with employees in Canada goes bankrupt, do it’s now unemployed employees pay income taxes? The answer is no, in many parts of Europe that have high unemployment they make up for it with regressive retail consumer taxes, which of course makes the problem worse. If Alberta and Saskatchewan leave or threaten to leave Canada, what a lot of Canadians don’t understand is that their income taxes and all the other taxes Western Canadians pay, won’t be available for redistribution. Making matters worse, Alberta and Saskatchewan don’t owe Canada ANYTHING!
Even if a person wants to argue that Western Canada has a lot of socialism, well at least their socialism is paid for! Quebec on the other hand, their socialism is not only debt-financed but it’s subsidized by Western Canada. Now, if Alberta threatens to leave Canada, even if Trudeau is Prime minister, the mainstream news has to cover this. No, personally I can already imagine the smirks on the faces of the CBC employees, who will think Albertan separatism is comical, but I remind the reader of Alberta and Sasketchewans SMALL POPULATION SIZE.
When you’re talking about separatism, small size benefits the separatists. Furthermore, because a large chunk of Albertans can engage in an economic or let’s call it a money debate, you can’t preach that socialists, squishy lovey-dovey bull-crap that gets a pass in Ontario. People who understand free-markets, demand that you barter a deal with them. I hope you’re beginning to see why I don’t care if Trudeau wins, I hope Alberta sends a message and votes in a plethora of PPC candidates. I know my country and I know change is coming. Behold your current Prime Minister and what could be Canada’s Prime Minister for the next 4 years!
Interesting times ahead!
