Americans To Consider Purchasing Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada can reach climate change goals by selling off Western Canada – November 2, 2019,
There are benefits to making a jackass your Prime Minister for the second time, those benefits as far as investing goes, make investors view your country as a country filled with idiots, picture Sweden or even France, sure living in these developed nations would be better than living in a third world nation, but let’s pray and hope non-developed nations don’t become developed nations and threaten to destroy us, because we’d get our asses kicked. Deep down all of us know this entire way of life we enjoy requires a lot of manual labour. Lights are on almost 24/7 it’s headline news when there’s a power outage, we complain about potholes when some nations don’t even have paved streets, we experience road rage when undeveloped nations don’t have adequate public transportation and we create minimum wages because certain private-sector jobs are beneath our citizens to do. Why work hard when there’s a social safety net right? duh!
Now, imagine for a moment that it came to the world’s attention that even after the economic devastation of his first term as Prime minister, Canadians said what the hell, let’s give this idiot a second chance at being our countries leader, what does that say about us as a people? To people who put great emphasis on social justice, they don’t really see what the fuss is all about, but if care about the well being of your children or grandchildren or even if you plan on retiring comfortably, well, you’d have to be at least a little concerned.
It should be noted that the United States even with all the regulation cuts Trump made is still due for a recession, possibly an economic collapse or crash. What a lot of people forgot about the 2007-2008 U.S economic crash is what happened to Canada, a lot of sub-prime lenders in Canada we’re spooked when the U.S economy crashed and a lot of them left Canada, now back then the CMHC mortgage back security experiment had just started and only Vancouver had an inflated housing crisis. Because Asians can comprehend what State-Owned Enterprises are and what the likely end result will be, Asian buyers were quick to prop up the B.C housing market.
Being that Leftism is pretty dominant in Vancouver, the progressive solution to curve a bloated housing market was more government intervention, which of course, made the problem worse, because when the government intervenes there’s this assumption that there are no cons. For every pro, there’s a con, unless a government is going to completely nationalize something, there is no way for the government to determine the selling price.
So after a person buys a house or a condo, they can sell it for whatever price they want and if CMHC and the Bank of Canada want to help more idiots buy real estate, that equates to an economic stimulus for the Canadian housing and credit markets. That my dear reader is what we in the financial world call the government picking economic winners and losers! Because without the government-enforced regulations, the market/the private sector would decide who QUALIFIES for a loan.
Anyway, in the name of apparently saving the Alberta economy, under Stephen Harpers Conservative leadership he appointed Governor Stephen Poloz who lowered central bank interest rates to of course lower the value of the Canadian dollar, why was the Canadian dollar rising you ask? Well, that would be Alberta my dear reader, because you see, the price of energy was rising, which equated to boom time for Alberta, now this would have continued, but Eastern Canada had its own interests, sure Western Canada benefits from a lower loonie, but Eastern Canada benefits the most from it, why? Because Eastern Canada has a huge Public Sector to feed.
No offense to Albertans, I’ve always been confused as to why you got suckered into thinking a lower loonie was a good thing? Western Canadians should have threatened to separate way back then, but you see a lot of Western Canadians like us in the East have been brainwashed into thinking decreasing the value of your labor is somehow a good thing? Oh no! Those evil Americans are threatening to import us stuff for cheap 🤣 oh no, imagine the horror, the prosperity Canadians would experience having all this extra money, imagine the devastation of Canadians having the ability to retire early and also imagine if Canadian businesses were more competitive oh my, please grants us more supply management, please.
So, yeah I have friends in America obviously and they laugh at me, they laugh at my country, they’re amazed however how resilient our economy has been, I often reply to them “thanks suckers”. Trump is like the first U.S President ever to call us out and he wasn’t even aggressive about it, I actually only think he did it because Prime minister Blackface along with his gender-neutral cabinet kept poking at him. Do Canadians remember NAFTA renegotiations? Canada signed the deal last and Canadians forget, we didn’t have to sign ANYTHING!😂. Trump got Mexico to bite and in fear Trudeau’s people signed, remember the USMCA hasn’t been ratified yet, it has to go through an approval process, which should tell you that Canada could have stalled. But you see, you’d have to understand bartering to do that, negotiations, it’s a zero-sum game based on relationships in the end.
Anyway, I have to be honest, I’m curious to see what Alberta and Saskatchewan is going to do in the next 2 years because in my opinion, Alberta doesn’t have to become a U.S State, it could simply be a U.S Territory like Puerto Rico, which equates to what? No U.S FEDERAL TAXES! I know most Canadians have heard it from their American friends or family before, “I thought America owned Canada”. This entire situation is comedic because Western Canada holds all the cards, but maybe just maybe, because Canadians aren’t as entrepreneurial as Americans are, they’re not as good at bartering as they’d like to be?
Sales is a skill, bartering is a skill, you can pretend it’s not all you want, but the salesforce is usually the most important asset to a large corporation. When you trade your bartering abilities for hourly wages,(most salespeople work off commissions) you might find yourself being the biggest sucker if you vacation in a third world country. What do you mean $10 the price you quote me earlier was $1.00, well, here, but no tip for you sir/madam😂”.
If what I wrote sounds ridiculous, how did Western Canadians allow the problem to get this bad in the first place? Have Albertans not noticed that they’ve capitulated on almost everything? it’s never enough, it’s never going to be enough until you end up like Eastern Canada. That’s what Bartering is all about, pushing back. I don’t agree with a lot of what Trump does, but damn it I admire the man! He pushes back at everything, even when he’s wrong he pushes back, if you think what Trump is doing is easy, I challenge you to try it EVERY SINGLE DAY in the legal sense of course. Because that, in case you’re not paying attention is what Quebecers do!, That’s what Eastern Canada does, we have a house of cards, but we behave like we’re capable of paying all the bills when evidence suggests otherwise!
Quebecers are pretty darn good at bartering, it wouldn’t surprise if when Quebec left Canada they then became pro-free-market! Those of you in Western Alberta who think it’s all about the Oil? You’re wrong, it’s about your ability to barter, if you allow people to push you around, you deserve to be pushed around. The article below is definitely worth the read because the light-heartedness of the article mirrors my sentiments. I’m sorry when I pay your bills, you’re not telling me what to do.
The world economy is looking at you Alberta and no offense but that French-speaking Jason Kenny guy, yeah, well doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, we call that insanity! Great read click the link below.
