BDC-Canada.com Review Is It a Scam?
First off I want to make it clear that I’m not out here trying to bash anyones business. I also want to begin this post to explain to readers that the official Canadian BDC website can be found by going here: http://www.bdc.ca/
BDC-Canada.com which as of August 2015 is located here:
Business Development Centre
1120 Finch Ave. W. Suite 701.
Toronto, ON. M3J 3H7
has a right to exist. Their Business Development Centre does provide a service but what I want to make clear is the fact that they’re NOT a government agency again let me repeat myself the Business Development Centre found at BDC-Canada.com is NOT government agency so your tax dollars don’t go to support their existense.
Is BDC-Canada.com a scam?
I would be lying if I said that the current BDC-Canada.com website doesn’t annoy me. Their current favicon resembles a Canadian maple leaf. Their website resembles the current Canadian JobBank website which anyone can view for themselves by going here: http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/
To make matters worse and this is what annoys me the most there’s no visable indication that shows that BDC-Canada.com is not an official Canadian Government website.
Does BDC-Canada.com provide a legit business?
Based on what I read BDC-Canada.com does provide legitimate services for people who don’t want to go through the tedious work of reading through the real BDC website found here http://www.bdc.ca/. The real BDC which is actually called Business Development Bank of Canada can also be contacted by phone by dialing this phone number 1-877-BDC-BANX (1-877-232-2269)
Business Development Bank of Canada vs. Business Development Centre Canada
Now to be fair and I’ve been through it also, there are times where government websites can get under your skin because in many cases government websites are filled with information and although the information might seem organised in an efficient manner that makes sense on Governments end; on the user’s side things may appear rather confusing.
This where BDC-Canada.com could add some value for people who just want the solution to their problems as fast as possible. There’s a price for this organization and obviously BDC-Canada.com collects on this. Based on my personal reviews that doesn’t make BDC-Canada.com a scam. However what bothers me about BDC-Canada.com is the fact that their website looks like a government website.
I’ve seen similar services that don’t operate like this that don’t try to mimic government websites. Why this bothers me so much is because this is how scammers are able to fool Canadians and steal people’s personal information posing like a government agents. Am I over reacting? That’s subjective but I’m not a fan of BDC-Canada.com nor will I recommend them to anyone at this time. If you’re looking for the Business Development Bank of Canada website click the link below.
