Brampton AKA The Greater Toronto Area Sh*t Hole Spends more than makes and wants to be compensated for it – June 16, 2019,
Mayor Patrick Brown Conservative by name only refuses to take responsibility for the disaster that is Brampton. Mississauga borders with Brampton and they want to get as far away from B-Town as possible. Similar ethnic demographic but different leadership. When Ontarians think Mississauga they think Hazel Mae who by the way was an independent that leaned more to the Classical Liberal stance on economics, Mississauga booming, vibrant, people feel proud to say they live in Mississauga, B-Town on the other hand, people associate Brampton with chaos, I refuse to go to Brampton unless it’s absolutely necessary, sure the article below is focused on health care, but the real problem in B-Town is education and every single public service known to man.
It’s management over mismanagement, based on my analysis of Brampton the real problem stems from the fact that Ontarians prefer Private sector services but have been convinced that putting the government in charge in health care and education is the right thing to do. If you’re a Leftist, if you’re a socialist, if you like big government, it’s very important that you understand that you must choose your leaders wisely. Especially municipal leaders, Left, Right politics aside, the approach of your leaders must be focused on economic growth.
What’s happened with Brampton, in my opinion, revolves around government contracts. It’s not like health care is 100% public, there’s privatization in Health Care, hospital beds, medical technologies, medicines all of these items come from the private sector, so when the bureaucrats spend money recklessly because they’re used to excess and they learn that ONTARIO IS BANKRUPT, they don’t know what to do with themselves. Ontario is BANKRUPT what part of that don’t people understand if there’s a global recession we are screwed. It’s not like it hasn’t happened before.
Equalization payments make it seem like we have money, but we have no money. If Ontarians get a chance, take a look at the U.S State of California, if it weren’t for Equalization payments which go to funding PUBLIC SERVICES Ontario would be worse off than the U.S State of California. Provines like Alberta are paying for our Public Services and in case you haven’t been paying attention ever since Trudeau became Prime minister we keep on hearing stories about Alberta’s economy struggling. What this means is that if there’s a downturn in the Canadian economy, a lot of the public services we take for granted simply might not exist. What Doug Ford has done isn’t austerity but it’s being treated like it is because cities like Brampton have been making promises they can’t pay for. WE ARE BANKRUPT!
Being honest, I’m not sure what’s going to happen, there’s an assumption shared by many Canadians that our economy can’t crash, or that deficits don’t matter, so I guess all I’ll say is make the decision that’s best suited for you!
