Quebec’s socialist secessionist political party, appears to be benefiting the most from Justin Trudeau’s incompetence, based on the latest polling data. Socialism appears to be struggling to gain tracking in Canada’s English-speaking regions, especially as Canada floods its borders with SKILLED immigrants, who now have OPTIONS, as a lot of the developed world is experiencing LABOUR shortages, thus presenting skilled immigrants with the OPTION to leave Canada for greener pastures.
This, ofcourse, equates to Canada potentially getting stuck with low-skilled immigrants who will need some sort of government assistance to survive. Quebers embracing socialism has been to their detriment. However, they’ve been able to live as if their bad policies were that if they were an independent nation, they’d, AT BEST, have serious hyperinflation problems if they opted to have their own currency.
French is NOT the language of business in North America, so Quebec’s protectionism as an independent nation would spell serious economic challenges. With that said, politics are different animals, and as long as English-speaking Canadians are dumb enough to continue financing Quebec socialism, socialism will NEVER die in Quebec; it will merely change hands.
The Bloc Québécois have been rather quiet in the political arena, but they could be the HUGE beneficiaries of the NDP and Liberals collapsing in the polls. Quebec is very important to the outcome of national elections, and if all the QUEBEC socialists decide that Bloc Québécois is their best option, politics will just get more interesting.
I suspect Pierre Plievre, who is expected to win big in the next election, will employ a more MARKET-friendly style of governance, and this is typically where socialists thrive, as the Bloc Québécois can claim “victimhood.”
The Bloc Québécois doesn’t even have to be loud about it; they can simply be IRRITATING to the benefit of Quebecers, and quite frankly, this love affair with the Bloc Québécois post Justin Trudeau could last for at least a decade.
Justin Trudeau, for me, is a Brian Mulroney type of figure; people are going to REMEMBER how BAD Justin Trudeau, the Liberals, and NDP made people FEEL. Trudeau leaves a BAD aftertaste in your mouth, and as an Ontarian, I can tell you that people remember that, and you’ll need an entirely new generation of voters who don’t know anything about Justin Trudeau to reverse how Justin, the Liberals, and the NDP made Canadians FEEL.
Politicians who engage in vote buying tend to forget that people have SHORT MEMORIES; politics and life, in general, is all about what you have done for me LATELY, and I’d argue that the QUIET strategy employed by the Bloc Québécois has been working, and may create a scenario in which they’re an UNSTOPPABLE force in Quebec.
If you ask me, based on the REALITIES of Canada, you’d be stupid NOT to vote for the Bloc Québécois if you’re a SOCIALIST living in Quebec, as they will, at the very least, be your BEST representative for your provincial interests.
Interesting times ahead
