Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Grows a beard and the Leftist Media Believes new look equates to businesslike approach to Politics – December 7, 2019,
being that Trudeau was recently enjoying a vacation in Costa Rica and also being that Trudeau, gave all of his Liberal buddies a retroactive pay raise, the beard he’s grown is more about flexing his PM muscles for deliverying on his promises to his friends and less about Trudeau’s change in approach to Politics.
There will be little to no change in Trudeau’s approach to politics, that isn’t a result of him having a minority government. Trudeau is destroying the Canadian economy more and more day by day, there is, of course, a belief by most Leftists in Canada that the Canadian economy runs on autopilot and no matter what the Federal or Provincial Governments do, things in Canada will be business as usual.

So as an example in the Province of Ontario, a province in which the Premier is engaging in austerity measures, the push back by the Leftist media is that there’s a huge demand to grow the size of government, you see the people of Ontario want more money sent to the Public sector, day after day the CBC and others promote an agenda of the government spending more money on public services and the basis of their arguments has little to do with economics. The assumption, of course, is that the world will never catch up, that Canadians can borrow money, raise taxes while at the same time shrinking the manufacturing and other private sectors.
Canada’s ability to export energy has been the main driver of Canada’s economic success and there’s currently a war being waged on Canada’s fossil fuel industries. For the average Canadian, it’s hard for them to understand the correlation between taxes paid by the private sector and consumption by the Public Sector, but so I’m clear, currency crises are typically created when a country consumes more than it produces, once a currency crisis occurs typically the currency has to be devalued, that’s not a big deal many will argue, this means that Canada will be a great place to export things to America, right?
Well, no, not anymore, because in case you haven’t been paying attention to the climate change alarmists, they’re trying to regulate entire industries in Canada out of existence, so even with a deflated dollar, manufacturing companies, many which offer high paying entry-level positions will find it hard to turn a profit in Canada. Who cares about manufacturing, many will argue, the tech sector is the future, yes, good point, but technology jobs typically don’t have any HIGH PAYING entry-level positions.
Typically it’s the highly educated who land tech jobs, even in Toronto recently, they added a new layer of regulation to Uber, I believe AirBnB also has more layers of regulations as well. During an economic downturn, provincial, municipal and federal regulations tend to work against the economy and it typically takes governments years, to figure out what the problem is with the economy.
In order for Paul Martin and Jean Chretien’s economic policies to blossom, they had to cut regulations in the banking and insurance industry, CMHC which is a crown corporation is now in the business of insuring mortgages, combine this with low-interest rates and Canada has become not only a hotbed for foreign investment but also a hotbed for money laundering.
In countries like Singapore which also has a hot real estate market, purchasers of real estate have to prove they’re helping the Singapore economy to get approved to purchase real estate, in Canada, no such law exists, instead Canada is more focused on killing tax producing industries and rewarding industries like real estate which revolve around paying almost no tax. I point to the article below because people who want more public services tend to vote for the Liberals. These people will believe that by Trudeau growing a beard, he will somehow help them to get more resources from the government.
Publically funded Home Care For Ontario Canada Patients
Not enough home care top concern for Ontario patients, study finds | CBC
Read and think about that article for a moment” publicly funded home care” meaning an actual human being, being paid by the taxpayers to take care of you in your own home? Minimum wages are how much? yes I know it’s unlikely any person doing this job will be paid the minimum wage, but these entitlements need to be paid for, money doesn’t grow on trees, now during an oil boom, Canada is being sidelined because Ontario and Quebec deemed it a better idea to vote for the Liberals.
We can pretend we can continue this public sector expansion but I remind the reader to be prepared in the event of an economic downturn because I’m reading a lot of articles from what are supposed to be reputable sources that are telling only one side of the story.
Interesting times ahead!
