Computers are only taking a few jobs from humans, there’s an overabundance of job vacancies, jobs can’t filled because Minimum Wages gave rise to Welfare – October 3, 2019,
Part of the reason the CBC annoys me is that they’re a State-owned broadcaster and at the very least, I’d like them to be forthright with information. Coming to a conclusion based on facts, I have no problem with, but trying to discredit even Leftist media sources for political gain is utter ridiculousness. Below are multiple articles regarding the surplus of jobs in both Canada and the United States. Notice that when I write posts I often point to leftist media sources.
Now, the below Huffington Post was written in 2018, this obviously before the Justin Trudeau re-election campaign, this is when the Leftist media is trying to prop up Trudeau.
Canada’s Job Vacancy Rate Hits Record High; Here’s Where The Jobs Are | huffingtonpost.ca
Now, just to make sure that I add some recent job data, consider reading the article below, which was written in August 2019, This is prior to the Justin Trudeau blackface scandal and also prior to the Greta Thunberg basically trying to tell the world that we have to change the economy. There’s a massive push for the elites to keep people dependent on the government and this is often the reason why there’s a push to end the minimum wage debate.
To understand poverty is to understand that people who don’t work are allowed to vote. A person on welfare or a person who takes more from the system than they put in is allowed to vote to enslave the people who do. Making matters worse are Crown Corporations and Public servant jobs in Canada. These entities aren’t competitive and their job security and their retirements are secured often at the expense of the people working in the private sector.
Why Minimum wages should be abolished – Measuring poverty in financial terms.
Now, if you know anything about the tax code, you’d know that if you don’t make enough money annually your tax burden in comparison to people who make more money is lessened. Now, what a lot of people don’t understand is if the size of the government were to shrink, the cost of living would also deflate, which of course, would equate to low-income earners wages buying more than they can buy today. Now, if minimum wages were abolished, like they are in Sweden and other countries from a financial perspective we’d be better able to calculate where the poverty rate begins.
What people who are for big government know is when more people are working, they tend to vote to shrink the size of government, there’s a portion in my pay that shows e how much I’m paying in income taxes. Also if minimum wages are abolished, Labour unions would have to prove their value. If you pay attention to the labor union culture in Canada, they’re heavily invested in politics and remember when it comes to labour unions they’re number one goal is to raise wages to keep lower-wage competition out. In Canada, labor unions are a major contributor to the Loonie being so low, because a higher loonie would equate to restructuring the Canadian economy in a manner that wouldn’t be beneficial for the socialists amongst us.
The Canadian economy, the Canadian worker is the best work in the world. The real threat to the establishment is massive growth in Canadian entrepreneurship, which is already happening and would explode if the Canadian dollar were to appreciate and the size of government was to shrink. A reminder to the reader, Public Sector workers don’t work for free, Public Sector workers don’t work for free, Public Sector workers don’t work for free!.
Employees of Crown Corporations also don’t work for free, Crown Corporations are basically public servants with a non-competitive profit motive. When we pay for taxes or when the BoC makes money available for cheap and when our Federal Government runs deficits, all of this craziness results in inflated consumer prices. If you’re wondering why rental and real estate prices so high there’s a Crown Corporation called CMHC which not only ensures mortgages but is now look into providing downpayment loans. Now, again this is a PUBLIC SERVICE, that is financing particular private sector institutions. Mortgages are given out by Private banks, but the government via the Bank of Canada and the CMHC are providing economic stability to corporate establishments on the backs of taxpayers who are the consumers.
Canada also has a fractional reserve banking system, which allows banks to lend money they don’t have, So even in commercial rentals, small business people are getting priced gouged by their landlords which obviously is leading to more business struggling financially, now with all of this craziness happening in both Canada and America there is still a surplus in jobs, meaning that most Canadians are choosing not to work. A lot of the vacant jobs, by the way, aren’t only skilled labour jobs, they’re also entry-level positions, but because Canada has such a generous welfare State if a person doesn’t have to work, in many instances they won’t.
Canadians in many respects pick and choose what jobs they’ll do, which is fine, we have great infrastructure in this country, however, if Canadians are choosing not to work, then clearly minimum wages which is government price-fixing should be abolished, because minimum wages aren’t allowing us to find out what the poverty problem really is. If I’m poor, if I’m really poor I’ll take any job I can get, however, if there’s the welfare and the welfare is competiting with the minimum wages, If I have any common sense I’ll weigh my options. If welfare offers me more benefits than working a low wage job, most people will stay on welfare.
Now, if a person was working normal Canadian working hours and they weren’t getting ahead, the money being spent on welfare could be used to raise the standard of living to these low wage earners. That’s how things should be in a fair world, these low-income workers are extremely important to the Canadian way more important if you ask me than the welfare consumers.
Low-income earners who work hard to grow our economy are financing the lives of the people who don’t work at all!
Via, minimum wage laws, our low-income earners, the people willing to work hard are being punished for people who sit at home all day and consume welfare. That’s ultimately what the minimum wage debate has always been about. Minimum wages give people an excuse not to work, people like me we want to change the welfare state and the minimum wage law is one of the worst laws in Canadian history, because even with it here, there’s a surplus in jobs, computers aren’t taking jobs, they’re making jobs easier, by the way, Computers need fixing, computers need to be manufactured, computers need humans to build software, computers need electricity, computers need HUMANS, The article below, in my opinion, is geared towards Trudeau’s re-election bid, the economy hasn’t looked good under Trudeau and of course people are looking for excuses as to why. Trudeau, the Liberals, people associate them welfare and free crap and excuses to get more free crap at the expense of others.
Yes, computers really are taking jobs from humans — especially in banking: Don Pittis | CBC
