Green party proposes a ‘robot tax’ and $15 federal minimum wage, making their green economy even more expensive – September 30, 2019,

One thing is for sure, basic economics and business isn’t a strength of the Green Party of Canada. I assumed if the planet as going to end that the Green Party would want to make Green businesses a whole lot cheaper to manage in Canada? Unfortunately, Greed is a huge portion of the Green agenda. A huge portion of the Green Party platform is a $15 federal minimum wage, which actually equates to the much tougher job of not only attracting greener jobs but attracting higher-paying green jobs. Adding to their Green new deal is a Robot tax which obviously means that if a company replaces a human income tax-paying employee with a more cheaper and more efficient machine then that private company will have to pay the government a ‘robot tax”.

Elon Musk and a robot tax

Now, Elon Musk has been hell-bent on making the world a greener place and one of Elon’s biggest problems are machines breaking down. Now when machines break down, you need humans to fix them, not only that employers lose a lot of money, when machines break down which is why most employers will often leave developed countries for third-world ones. Adding a robot tax along with minimum wages is a recipe for disaster.

Now, the reality of the situation is that had Elon not had to pay humans an above-market wage, we’d all probably be driving electric cars by now, because a lot of these machines probably wouldn’t exist. The reason most machines exist revolves around governments over-regulating the economy and propping up wages. Why do companies go to China and other third world nations for cheaper labor? Because employees in DEVELOPED nations price themselves out of a job.

When you live in a developed nation it’s a sign that life is a lot easier than in non developed nations. The infrastructure already exists and the truth is had it not been for greed of the workers, our money would buy us more because our government would collect fewer tax dollars to hire public servants and create often unnecessary public services. When we as Canadians don’t have to pay robot taxes we end up creating a thousand more Elon Musk types who’d be hell-bent on solving this so-called climate change problem, because, like the greedy employees who want higher minimum wages, profit-driven entrepreneurs would have more of an incentive to create multiple different green new solutions, it’s important for people to understand that higher taxes don’t go towards making everyone’s life better, taxes go toward making life better for a select few. If you’re forced to pay for something that doesn’t help you directly, you’re being forced to be a slave for someone else.

I have to say you people in the Green Party, you’re all a bunch of idiots. I genuinely thought you’d avoid the topic of Greed and vote-buying, but just like the Liberals and the NDP the Greens are serving special interest groups. I’ve heard that a lot of NDP voters have switched to the Green Party, well these expensive proposals by the Green Party sound like something out of the NDP playbook. Absolutely disgusting! If you’re wanting to combat climate change and you believe the world is going to end soon, you should be contributing to making life in Canada more expensive, you also shouldn’t be trying to repel investment into Green energies.

Before you vote for the Green Party don’t be afraid to ask if the Green Party has any Green investors or job creators lined up to create jobs based on the Green Party Platform. Don’t assume that the Green Party will be able to create sustainable government jobs and also don’t assume that the value of the Canadian dollar won’t decrease when The Green Party makes the FEDERAL minimum wages increase. In Mexico the minimum wage is $102.68 Mexican pesos, money can be devalued and minimum wages on the Federal level is no joke, minimum wages is usually a provincial thing, raising federal minimum wages is what destroyed former U.S President who loved solar energy, Jimmy Carter.

If minimum wages worked every country would simply set wages at $20 per hour, instead even Socialist countries like Sweden and Denmark have ABOLISHED minimum wages.

Anyway vote for the Green Party an their nonsense if you want too, just don’t say you weren’t warned about their buffoonery.
