Heather Mallick Describes Justin Trudeau Blackface incidence as Brownface, insensitive borderline racist article on Thestar.com – September 25, 2019,
First off, obviously Heather Mallick is biased towards the Liberal Party in the article she goes out of her way to bring up Andrew Scheer in regards to Justin Trudeau’s repeated blackface incidence. We’re not talking about one Blackface incident we’re talking about multiple blackface incidences.
Now, personally I’m not voting for Scheer or Trudeau, but you would read me bringing up Elisabeth May, Jagmet Singh or Maxime Bernier using the words Blackface? In her article, Heather Mallick does everything possible to link Trudeau’s Blackface to Andrew Scheer? Andrew Scheer doesn’t deserve this type of comparison, below is a video of what Justin Trudeau did.
The truth of Heather Mallick’s article is that depending on who reads it, it can come across as extremely offensive. For the record, Heather Mallick has South Asian and Scottish roots, to the best of my knowledge she’s not Black or African American. Now, when Trudeau attended the South Asian event, the South Asian people present clearly didn’t have any connection with it, they probably didn’t understand the correlation to blackface and their culture, in fact, they probably excused Justin Trudeau’s behavior as clownish not worthy of a second thought. That response would be far different if Justin Trudeau had tried this blackface stunt in a room full of African Americans.
Now, honestly, do you think Justin Trudeau could even get away with the following stunt in a room full of African Americans, or West Indian Canadians of African Descent? I highly doubt it, I highly doubt Justin would even attempt it. Justin Trudeau pulled this stunt primarily because of the demographics, he knew full well there would be no consequences, not because it was Brownface, he did it because it was Blackface! It was calculated and it’s disgusting to me that Heather Mallick would even compare Justin Trudeau’s actions to Andrew Scheer.
If Heather Mallick wants to promote Justin Trudeau, it’s in her right to do so, although, thestar.com is private if they want to play the role of CNN in Canada they can promote the Leftist candidate all they want, I don’t care, but Justin Trudeau and Blackface is the reality. Justin Trudeau and Blackface will be tied together forever, Justin Trudeau clear had Racist views at some point in his life, Andrew Scheer hasn’t proved to be a racist in any way, just because Heather Mallick doesn’t agree with his politics doesn’t grant her the right to categorize him incorrectly. This is, of course, the problem with the modern-day Left. They don’t want to take any responsibility.
Look how Heather Mallick describes the Indigenous experience in Canada, she gives them a few words because to get into the heart of the racist argument towards the First Nations people of Canada, you’d have to discuss and include failed Liberal policies, blatant racism, and antifeminism sediments on the part of Justin Trudeau towards Jody Wilson-Raybould and the Liberals flooding Canada with Mass migrants instead of using those same resources towards helping Canada’s First Nations people. Hey, Heather Mallick, we haven’t even solved poverty amongst our Canada’s First Nations people yet! Don’t use them as a way to promote Justin Trudeau. Read the article I link to below, it’s absolutely disgusting, Heather Mallick: Brownface story has had its five minutes
Heather Mallick, you should be ashamed of yourself! How about just saying you’re going to vote for Justin Trudeau no matter what he does? You’re disgusting!
U.S. slavery and what followed have made race a fire that cannot be put out in that country. Canada does not have that history, though it happily abused Indigenous people. Racism as an issue does not consume us here. Yet Scheer’s team clearly hoped we would overreact.
Journalism overreacted, like 40 hockey players all headed for the puck, the history of the puck, who hates the puck, has the puck been black since 2001, is the puck lying, what African-Americans think of the puck, do brown people still like the puck, can they forgive the puck, what does Jane Philpott think of the puck, what’s next for the puck.
