What does IDK mean in texting?

This a very commonly used text acronym and in many instances it’s easy to understand and recognize when you’re chatting with someone the meaning is pretty straight forward and using this slang can save you a lot of time in a variety ways in a text or chat conversation.

IDK = I Don’t Know

IDK can be used in the beginning of a chat sentence or in response to a question someone asked you a few examples “IDK if the LA Lakers will beat the Clippers tonight” or If someone says to you “Hey are you going to that Justin Bieber Concert later this week?” You can respond with a simple “IDK” answer! Unlike some of the other terms this one is widely used and excepted.
