The inconvenient reality if Justin Trudeau wins the 2019 Federal Election in Canada – September 28, 2019
When you consume as many mainstream articles as I do, it’s refreshing to read an article that is actually critical of Justin Trudeau’s re-election bid. Being honest, I could care less if Canada’s mainstream media came out CNN, Young Turk style as full-blown Leftist, my problem with the mainstream media in Canada is that they pretend to be bipartisan, they pretend to be fair and in many ways intentionally sprew Liberal and NDP Propaganda.
Why I consider this a problem is when economic turmoil hits this country, most Canadians will have a narrow world view which will prove disastrous to many Canadians who assume the Government has the ability solve all problems. Poverty begins in the mind, we are so very lucky to be living in Canada, the climate in Canada has always changed and the inconvenient truth of freedom is that as long as one person isn’t enslaving another person we all should have equal rights under the law.
If as an example, more than 50% of Canadians are against mass immigration, simply labeling these people as racists isn’t a way to debate, but yet this is how the media in Canada frames all Canadians who are against MASS migration. This, of course, doesn’t allow any Canadian to engage in meaningful debates and test what works from what doesn’t work. Multicultural Toronto’s homicide rate is now higher than multicultural New York’s? Now, for someone my age, that sounds ridiculous, when I was growing up, we knew Hollywood would skip over doing criminal shows about Toronto because New York had way more interesting stories of criminal activity.
Ever since New York Former Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani, New York has done a 180-degree turn on criminality. It’s not to say that criminals don’t exist in New York, but per capita, Toronto is now more dangerous. The question to ask is why? Firstly, Canadian progressivism really begins with Pierre Trudeau. Canada which hasn’t engaged in as many wars per capita as the United States somehow has found a way to get in almost the same amount of debt as the United States.

Now, in a country like Japan in which government debt is at astronomical levels, individual savings rates in Japan still remain high. Canada, on the other hand, our savings has dipped to a record low, why? Because, progressive policies revolve around stimulating the economy, which of course means to spend everything you have and also spend as much as you can borrow. Savings has become such a problem in Canada that the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation(CMHC) has introduced a concept called First-Time Home Buyer Incentive. Now, the main reason house prices are so high in Canada revolves around political policies geared towards creating inflated prices for consumers. But you see because the mainstream media in Canada is so corrupt, most Canadians have a hard time viewing the world from both sides of the equation.
If you’re a socialist, I’m okay with that, but please stop pretending that your views or opinions of how the world should be governed are the only ideas that exist. Being that Canada has a Crown Corporation called the CBC one would at least assume they’d have a bipartisan approach to reporting, but even they lean towards the Left and this is will prove to be extremely disastrous if the Canadian economy corrects. In Europe, because certain European countries embraced Socialism their economies were destroyed, this is one of the main reasons why the European Union exists. The Euro currency exists because most European countries had policies that Canada embraces today.
Countries like Greece went bankrupt and continue to suffer economically, primarily because their government likes to pick economic winners and losers. Now, I’m not the type of person that will say free-market economics doesn’t have its flaws, but capitalistic flaws are nowhere near as disastrous as Socialism in which appointed representatives of the people to get to decide what portion of the economy gets welfare and what portion has to pay for the welfare.
Because there’s an assumption by the average Canadian voter that there is unlimited money to pay for every socialistic program, there’s an assumption that Canada’s labor shortage and all non-funded government programs are a result of evil capitalists not paying their fair share. Now, the reality is a lot of Canadian voters don’t pay their fair share, people on Welfare can vote, people who work for a Canadian State-owned Crown Corporation can vote, people who work for the public sector can vote and people who are on welfare in Canada can vote. So you have a public sector voting bloc in Canada which via the democratic process can vote to enslave people working in the Private Sector.
Making matters worse, as long as the biased Leftist media under the guise of pretending to be fair can keep the average Canadian voters ignorant that their cost of living is being raised because of the Socialist public Sector then most voters will believe and assume that Capitalism is evil and should be eventually phased out. Now, obviously when you phase out Capitalism what’s left is Russia, Venezuela and/or Cuba. But you see, in the minds of many people they hear that Communist countries like China are growing, but because the Canadian voters is so ignorant about economics, they’ll never know that China’s wealth is derived from their FREE MARKET, Capitalistic zones that generate so much money that they help to pay for the Chinese Communist Party initiatives.
Now, personally I know when Canadians understand what’s going on, they will become better voters. This doesn’t mean that voters will become Conservatives or Libertarians, but they’ll be able to see through Leftist propaganda. Why the mainstream media want a dumbed-down public, in my opinion, revolves around the multi-national corporations and public sector entities who have a lot of hush money at their disposal. How this relates to Justin Trudeau and his reelection bid is that everything I point out in this article is understood by most world leaders.
What I point out in this blog post also understood by most investors, so if Justin Trudeau wins a second term, it will be a clear sign that large enough portion of the Canadian population is open to Socialism or authoritarian rule. This would be a very bad precedent for Canada. It’s not to say that we can’t turn things around in 2023, but it will show the investment community that, if changes aren’t made soon Canada could be on the wrong side of history. Investors want to know and believe there will be a return on their investment, Socialism equates to no returns on investment.
Why did investment leave Venezuela why? Because investors would get no return, investment left Brazil and Argentina, why? Investors would see little or no return on their investment. Investment into Canada has been dwindling under Justin Trudeau, why because of his Socialist policies. Now, again I believe Canadians have a right to believe in Socialism, but there needs to be a dialogue of the pros and the cons of socialism. Because human behavior has shown that people will gravitate to the easier jobs with higher pay. So if there are benefits to not work hard outweigh the benefits of working hard this, of course, is the driving factor to the Canadian labour shortage.

I want to point out that the articles I point to above don’t tell the whole story, however, the media spends such little time on economics, that the average voter, doesn’t appear to realize that they may, in fact, be voting for their own destruction. Climate Change as an example, a carbon tax? How is it that a politician can simply create a carbon tax or any other regressive tax on its citizens without explaining where the money is going and who it will benefit? Typically when Canadians think taxes they think of the government building or maintaining something SPECIFIC. Ask yourself where exactly is Canada’s Carbon tax going?
Now, again the Carbon Tax in Canada is nothing more than a government income redistribution scheme where the working classes, pay to subsidize other classes? Carbon taxes are in fact another socialist scheme where the Government is allowed to pick winners and losers. Now, the ambiguity of Carbon taxes should be clarified by the mainstream media, however, if you research the topic, you’ll notice that Mainstream media in Canada doesn’t make a topic of priority. Is this because it’s not important to Canadians, or is it because there’s an assumption by the mainstream media in Canada that there’s a demand for Socialism?
The article I point to below is actually critical of Justin Trudeau from a standpoint of the double standards that exist in Canada. Personally, the reason why I think Justin Trudeau will win the election is that Canada has serious State dependence disease. There are even Canadians who identify as Libertarians who believe that it’s the governments’ duty to protect wages. Protectionism, of course, is what led to Hitler, Fascism is nothing more than National socialism. Now, on the both the Left and Right sides of the political debate, it appears both sides do not understand the other and that’s the real problem.
There’s No Populist movement in Switzerland = Debt Brake
In Switzerland, there’s something called a debt brake which limits spending growth to average revenue increases over a multiyear period (as calculated by the Swiss Federal Department of Finance). This limits what a politician can promise to voters. Now, I want to make it clear that in Switzerland they’re not against Keynesian economics, in fact, many Swiss embrace Keynes, what people forget about Keynes is that Keynes was for a Gold Standard, he just thought a little Government manipulation here and there was okay, but Keynes never dreamed of a Fiat monetary system that we have today.

So, in Canada, we currently have the Liberals, The NDP, The Greens, and The Conservatives all opened to continuous deficit spending, all opened to growing the size of the government, all opened socializing as much as they can and all open-minded to Democratic Socialism and because there are no limits on what they can say or do, because there exists no mechanism that can put a politician in jail for bankrupting a nation, they spend taxpayer dollars cavalierly and because the public sector, personal and corporate welfare classes in Canada are so large there’s still a very good chance that Trudeau even with the blackface incidences will still be the leader of Canada and one of the major faces of Progressive ideology all over the world.
Personally I think the Green Party will be the talk of the upcoming election, primarily because Justin Trudeau is an embarrassment, but imagine for a moment Justin Trudeau does win and then consider reading the article below, how embarrassing will it be for Canada do have Justin Trudeau as our countries leader for 4 more years. Now, some will say Justin will step down during a minority government, but I don’t think people understand the history of Socialist tyrants.
A conservative is typically a well-educated person on the economy as are the Classical Liberal types, Leftist, Communists, Marxists, Fascists these people are usually economic buffoons with huge egos that will be damaged severely if the one thing they hold dear “Their moral authority” is destroyed in the theatre of politics.
If Trudeau wins, he may double down on his virtue signally and become even more aggressive with trying to pursue his socialism, it may serve as a whole new life for Justin that even in the midsts of all the scandals he still found a way to win, so he will, of course, try to rebrand himself, similar to his dad Pierre Trudeau, this will prove to be disastrous for the Canadian economy and this y dear reader is the inconvenient reality if Justin Trudeau wins the 2019 Federal Election.
Canada would have voted for an embarrassment and second time and therefore be a global joke of epic proportions if the Canadian economy crashes with Trudeau as its Prime Minister. Make no mistake about it, even Leftist all over the world will laugh at us, because even they will argue that all the signs were there that Justin wasn’t who he claimed to be. Again although I align more with the Right Side of the Political spectrum, I acknowledge that we live in a democracy, I just wish our media did proper reporting, because if Canada head into an economic downturn and Trudeau is Prime Minister? All I can say is God help us all!
