Justin Trudeau BlackFace: Do South Asians and People’s of African Descent Share The Same Feelings of Blackface? – September 19, 2019,
So, I watched this video and I’m curious to know if South Asians and people of African descent share the same feelings when they see a person wearing blackface. Now obviously there are people with mixed ancestry, that have their own experiences and views, however what seems to be apparent is that South Asians don’t appear to bothered by Blackface the way peoples of African descent are, people’s who or I should say some people who view themselves as Black, would obviously feel differently about Justin Trudeau’s Blackface image than peoples who if categorized to a color, will call themselves Brown, or peoples with Brown skin.
Clearly the South Asians in the video, don’t appear to care as much as the people of African descent? Could the reason for this be that south Asians have no real connection with the Blackface stereotype? In the video, conveniently GlobalNews also choose younger Afro-Canadians, who probably have friends of every ethnic background and who want to spread love to everyone. It should be noted that I don’t blame young people for being Socialist, the world is still new to them, all humans are allowed to make mistakes and a lot of young people are forgiving.
The point I’m trying to make here, however, is that if you look at the pictures below, they’re blackface, Trudeau went as far as to make his arms black, in the photos below look how much lighter-skinned the South Asian gentlemen are? Living in Toronto, I’ve worked with Sri-Lankans who tend to be darker-skinned South-Asians, however, I’ve even heard them refer to themselves as Brown, even when their skin is darker than many Afro-Canadians.
Within East Asian, South Asians and European cultures everything isn’t always black and white. Japan and China physically may have similar characteristics, their cultures may also be similar, but they’re not the same. In Europe, Irish and English culture might be similar but it’s not the same, in India, Indian and Pakistani Culture might be similar but it’s not the same, with African derived cultures, Nigerian and Jamaican culture may have similarities but even they’ll tell you it’s not the same.
Blackface might actually have more effect on a lighter-skinned African-American than it would on a darker-skinned person African from Nigeria. So this again, for me is why the promotion of individualism is so important. It’s not right to lump people into one group and if you were to rewatch the Global News story, you can kind of see what they’re attempting to do.
So as an example, why I don’t think any of the people in the picture below don’t seem offended by the photo is that you have to remember the type of school Trudeau was teaching at, it’s not like he was teaching in Toronto high school filled with Afro-Canadian students, he taught as a drama teacher in an upper-class region of British Colombia, where again I’ve said this several times and I’ll continue to hammer this home, there are white supremacists in all Progressive Party’s in Canada, one of the main reasons most Conservatives are annoyed with Progressives is that there’s a double standard. Conservatives want to talk it out, Progressive want to name call and for the most part, the name-calling has been working, because Liberals seem to get a free pass on their blatant racism, there’s no journalism in the Global News story above, look how targeted the groups were.
This image below, Trudeau is way darker than Aladdin ever was, I even made the error of referring the below picture to brownface when I just got it, but it’s clearly blackface and it may have even been funny to the Sikh’s as they may not know the history of blackface. If you’re reading this and don’t understand the history of blackface, consider doing some research and at the very least, try to imagine being a Black America or black person in general in an era where White Supremacy was the equivalent of Terrorism in the middle east today.
If you’re the wrong type of Muslim or Christian in certain parts of the Middle East everything the ruling majority does is fair game at your expense. If you’re Islamic in a Hindu dominant region of India, everything is fair game at your expense, this is just a portion of how African Americans of that era felt when the white majority used their suffering for their entertainment. Now, if this is new to you, understand that this is new to many Young Afro-Canadians and South Asian Canadians also. So when you see the picture below, keep that in mind.
Now this last photo, I don’t know how you hide this one, this one is full-blown racist, I try to be fair, but I can’t find a way to defend this last one and by the way there could be more of these Blackface photos, but this one, which is caught on video is very disturbing, because for me it brings into question why Justin Trudeau treated Jody Wilson-Raybould the way he does.

But come on, does this photo not look extremely racist to you? I’m a pretty tolerant guy, but this looks like some white supremacist type stuff.
Added the video so the viewer can get an actual feel for the video the Drama teacher is filmed wearing blackface and wearing an Afro like I don’t know how any non-white-supremacist person can justify voting for this guy. I can’t even bring myself to vote for Andrew Scheer, I can’t imagine how I’d feel if I was a Liberal supporter who voted for this?
I have to be honest, right now I feel like crap, I know there are white supremacists in the Liberal Party, but I genuinely didn’t think Pierre Trudeau’s son was this immature, because white supremacy, Black, Asian all of it, all forms of racism is a clear sign of insecurity, ignorance and a lack of judgment. He’s the Prime minister of Canada? think about it? We’re not talking about a civilian we’re talking about the Prime Minister of Canada since 2015 and Canadians are only learning about this now.
If Andrew Scheers Conservatives knew about this you all should be ashamed if any persons knew about this prior to 2015 and stood silent only looking to capitalize on it, you all should be ashamed, this is disgusting, we will be a global mockery for this buffoon!
Do South Asians and People’s of African Descent Share The Same Feelings of Blackface? You be the judge!
End racism, Embrace individualism!
Interesting times ahead!
