Justin Trudeau finds his fall guy, and the Narrative works, but…: Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) director David Vigneault told Trudeau invoking the Emergencies Act was ‘required’ to quell Freedom Convoy – November 21, 2022,
We were all waiting for this moment; who would be the individual to take the fall for the current Prime Minister of Canada? Somebody had to do it, someone credible, someone whose pension is likely not at risk, and someone, who could be fired for incompetence but did have the clout to “advise” the Prime Minister to invoke the Emergencies Act.
This doesn’t make invoking the Emergencies Act legal, but it does give Trudeau a scapegoat moving forward. It’s not like Trudeau was going to be criminally charged anyway. However, I do still see lawsuits brewing, as ALL the evidence to date shows that invoking the Emergency Act was unnecessary. The lawsuits will likely become a time-consuming affair, and this is what piques my interest because if there are lawsuits, which is what I assume this inquiry is all about, David Vigneault just foolishly complicated his life, as his testimony or loyalty to Trudeau, just assisted Trudeau in removing himself from the equation.
Words are key in all of this and David Vigneault, in my opinion, FOOLISHLY used the words “required” not sure why he said that but we’ll have to wait and see what this means for David Vigneault, if I were Trudeau, I’d be smiling ear-to-ear right now, even as I’m writing this, I’m smiling because if prosecution is smart, regardless of what direction they take moving forward, the people affected by the Emergencies Act, most certainly have reason to file a lawsuit.
I’m not a legal expert, I’m not entirely sure how all of this works, but David Vigneault is the first person to throw himself to the wolves; he might not be the last because others have tried to save Trudeau; the problem is they weren’t in a position of authority, nor were they working for the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, naming their opinions null and void.
Law enforcement officers had zero reasons to pick sides, most senior officers have been policing long before CANDIDATE Trudeau, so I don’t know any senior police officer with a pension that would voluntarily complicate their lives for a prime minister clearly in violation of Canadian law; however, CSIS is subject to review by the Federal Court, and it must be pointed out that Justin Trudeau first became Prime Minister in 2015, and David Vigneault assumed the role as director on June 19, 2017.
Make of it what you will; most of us knew this would happen; we just didn’t know how. Well, here we go; things just got interesting, and I’m eager to see how much more corruption and incompetence there is in the Federal government. I don’t know who appoints the director of CSIS, but I imagine that’s a well-paying job that simultaneously gives you enough power to turn a democratically elected Prime Minister into a DICTATOR!
Because this is an active story, I’ll end this post here.
Interesting times ahead!
