Labor Union Greed: UAW rejects new GM offer as strike forces 6,000 Mexico layoffs – October 1, 2019

The labor union culture may have to consider evolving in the future because it’s unlikely that the nonsense that’s going on at GM will exist 30 years from now. I keep hearing all this nonsense about automation taking jobs away, this is the dumbest argument I’ve ever heard, how about we call it for it is, greed and laziness are going to take jobs away. Does anyone even care why GM is on strike? Will GM ever get credit for over-paying its workforce to the point that GM’s workforce would rather go on strike rather than quit? Can GM get a little credit for being the parents that did such a good job spoiling their children that their children have no plans on ever leaving home?

I hear people like Andrew Lang spewing pure nonsense about automation stealing jobs and America needing to have a Univeral Basic Income. How about just calling it for what it is, people want money they don’t have to work for or earn a free market environment, people want to enjoy capitalism but live and behave like socialists. Well, history has proved that model has never worked, if the undeserving simply conquer they’ll have no idea how to manage. Thiefs can’t run a business for any length of time, which is why they have to use intimidation tactics.

You’re a bad employer, but we refuse to quit because there isn’t a better company available to hire us? If you take a step back and look at UAW for what it is, you’ll see these people are mostly misguided, short-sighted, idiotic, greed-driven individuals who obviously don’t know how good they have it. When a job treats me wrong, I quit!
