More Liberal vote-buying leading up the Federal election, Justin Trudeau makes me sick, so he and his people create a whole new position they’re calling a federal pay equity commissioner, her name is Karen Jensen, A government release says Jensen is an experienced litigator who has represented clients in human rights, constitutional, administrative and labour law cases for more than 25 years. Because the Act, known as the Pay Equity Act, is not expected to come into force until 2020, Jensen will be appointed to the Canadian Human Rights Commission effective Oct. 16 to deal with the work required to establish the new pay equity division. They’re calling it the pay equity division? Meaning that there are going to be quite a few people in this division who will be overseeing Federal pay?

Now, based on the little information I know, this does include Federal Crown Corporations like Canada Post? The RCMP? Can a person born as a male who identifies as female also be entitled to these non-market-based Federal Government pay raises? Last time I checked isn’t a huge chunk of Federal employees already Unionized? Justin Trudeau and his gender-neutral cabinet are like kids in a candy store, this is beyond ridiculous and this is blatant vote-buying by Trudeau’s Liberals, even the article points out that this announcement happened on the eve of the election.

The bill introduced last October aims to ensure that women and men in federally regulated workplaces, including the federal private sector, the federal public service, Parliamentary workplaces, Prime Minister’s and ministers’ offices, receive equal pay for work of equal value.

“Proactive pay equity isn’t just the right thing to do — it’s the smart thing to do, because when people are treated fairly and given an equal opportunity to succeed, we all win,” Employment Minister Patty Hajdu said Tuesday night in a release.

I’m disgusted, this reminds me a lot like when Former Premier of Ontario Kathleen Wynne made a last-ditch effort to save herself from embarrassment, she raised minimum wages and offered all kinds of free crap to everyone, what this did was it put Doug Ford at a huge disadvantage. Well, ultimately that’s why you have to change the culture and this again is why going forward I’m only voting for people who align with my values.

Lastly how much money will Karen Jensen make for doing this job? Why is there no male voice? or no voice for people who identify as “Other”? She apparently is supposed to be this holier than thou figure who will magically raise the pay scale of any individual she deems as worthy, the Canadian TaxPayers have no say in how much money Karen Jensen will make, nor do we taxpayers have any say in how much more money she grant a Federal employee who comes to her with a financial grievance? This is disgusting and it’s an abuse of power!
