The Mental Preparedness of Alberta Separating From Canada, It’s not only about the oil and the Pipelines – October 24, 2019,
TheRebel.media have been doing what I believe are accurate depictions of how the average Ontarian views, Alberta. Every Ontarian is consciously aware of the importance of Alberta however if we in Ontario can get away with Albertans financing our public sector, there’s no incentive for us to consider the feelings of the bread winner. The video below shows the ignorance of some, the acknowledgment of others and a potential balance that many assume will be the end result. David Menzies does what I consider to be an excellent job simply reporting the news. consider watching the clip below.
Quebec Separatism and how Canadians have been taught to care
Quebec is broke, most Canadians know this, however, if you ever listened to politics or politicians in Quebec, they speak as if Quebec is the richest Province in Canada, as big as Quebecs public sector is and even though Quebec is the worst province in Canada to start a business, their politics revolves around growing the public sector and Protectionism of their culture.
Being that Quebecers are heavily involved in Canada’s political system, they’ve actually been subtly trying to brainwash Canadians into believing that we need them. Quebec has a house of cards, as do many Eastern Canadian Provinces, however, if you’re a person who believes that economies simply fix themselves, you’d be inclined on the surface anyway to take Quebec’s economic fallacy as fact. Never underestimate the power of propaganda!
Why Albertan and Western Canadian Separatists would be wise to draft their vision for Alberta
Where I’ve typically had issues with Albertans revolves around this focus of money, it’s being separatists doesn’t purely revolve around the money, it revolves around what your country would look like Post Canada, Who would your trading partners be, Alberta, is landlocked, this is not to say that Alberta’s trading partner wouldn’t be Canada or the United States, but let’s say Canada and America became hostile towards Albertan oil, what then? What would you do to grow your economy otherwise?
Why Alberta should push for the Energy East Pipeline
The importance of breaking down what-if scenarios is very important to the strength of the Separatist movement. Now, personally, if you’re talking about strategy, now would be a good time for Alberta to get back to business about the Energy East pipeline, it’s time Trudeau earns his keep, it’s time to see what The Impact Assessment Act, the Canadian Energy Regulator Act, and the Canadian Navigable Waters Act is all about. I say push these agencies to their limits, why wait? If they’re going to be good to Alberta r screw western Canada over, its best to get concrete evidence as soon as possible.
If you’re a Separatists, you need to know without a shadow of a doubt that Bill C-69 was created to muzzle you, at this point, this would be your point of reference to explain to Western Canadians that whether you’re a part of Canada or not a part of Canada, you’re going to get resistance from Trudeau’s Liberals and his Leftist supportive government agencies. At this point, it would be wise in my opinion that Western Separatists start to formulate what Separatism looks like and start forming their own political bloc.
Now, unlike the Bloc Quebecois, I don’t think Alberta should marginalize itself, clearly, Albertans have support outside of their borders, but even within its borders, Albertan Separatists have to anticipate that many people within Alberta won’t be able to stomach #Wexit. Even in Quebec there’s push back against the Bloc, I don’t think Albertans should assume that there won’t be internal conflict as to what Albertan Separatism looks like, however, what will make Albertan Separatism different from the Bloc Quebecois, is the understanding of how they’d pay their own bills in the event of an actual Separation. This is a topic that should be discussed openly and often, this should be a Western Canadian thing and what comes out of it is what comes out of it.
Alberta leaves the Canadian economy crashes, but Alberta’s economy might crash also!
Alberta has more believers per-capita than any other province in Canada as to the benefits of a free market. IQ plays a huge role in economics, even the Chinese under a Communist dictatorship, know how to save and even become rich in harsh conditions. In China, they have area’s called “free market zones”, in case you don’t understand how China was able to take so many people out of poverty, it wasn’t because of their Communist Government, it was despite it, Singapore is another country, it’s a tiny country with no natural resources, yet economically Singapore does very well, my favorite country outside of Canada, of course, is another landlocked country Switzerland, it’s socialist programs are paid for without running a deficit.
Why do I bring this up? Because Western Separatism will be terrifying for people who don’t like change and it would be wise to paint a realistic picture of how Alberta thrives post-Canada.
Yes, I get it, the moment Western Canada separates, Canada goes bankrupt and more than likely Canada will be forced to come to the table to negotiate in unfavorable terms, but that’s not the point I’m trying to make here. When Albertans fearful of separatism are faced with the propaganda that will be hurled in their direction for daring to free themselves from Eastern Canada’s oppression, the common Alberta will need to know how to rebut untrue statements. Again in this article, I point to TheRebel.media, however, TheRebel.media has to tell the story for what it is, not for what some people may want. This is why in my opinion, it would be wise for Albertan Separatists to get together and plan out what Alberta and potentially other Western Canadian provinces will look like post-Canada. Explain to Albertan separatists ahead of time that during the transition things will be rocky, but explain that the Albertan Government will always be opened to working with everyone.
There’s No Reason For Albertan Separatists to be rude or to be boisterous on the political stage
When you pay the bills, there’s really no reason to be nasty, in fact, this could be the time when Albertans may want to be humble. With every rejection by the Trudeau Governments appointed directors. I think it would be wise for Albertan Separatists to do as the TheRebel.media does, tell the story as is. You (Western Canadians) pay the bills, if Quebec and Eastern Canada start paying their own bills, Alberta is open to negotiation, but I’d like to remind the reader the reason why Eastern Canada doesn’t pay its own bills. Eastern Canada has its own natural resources, but there’s no incentive to extract it, produce it and sell their resources because whether Eastern Canada does or doesn’t grow its economy, we’re rewarded with Equalization payments!
Why as a an Eastern Canadian I’d like Alberta to form its own Bloc?
Leftists are destroying the country I love, and if actual debates don’t come back to this country I fear for the lives of my children and grandchildren. Did you see the attitudes of some of the people in those TheRebel.media videos? They assume they have everything figured out, sure they’re young, but I know a lot of people that I went to high school with who are now pushing 50 years and have barely changed since their teen years, the reason they haven’t changed is that they’re being rewarded economically for their buffoonery.
Economics is something I take very seriously, Obviously I’m against socialism, however, if the people want it, they should be willing to pay the inflated price for it. Not only is Eastern Canada deficit spending, not only are we in debt, but we’re forcing Western Canada to finance us. It’s not right, it’s sending a terrible message and eventually, all of Canada will have to pay for this. I use to wrongly accuse Alberta of mismanaging their money, however I’ve had to re-word my earlier concepts because if let’s say business was like McDonald’s was punished by the government for making a profit and the government used McDonalds profits to give to Burger King via an equalization formula, might the McDonalds Organization change its spending patterns? might the Albertan Conservative Government in order to avoid losing money consider trying novel r risky things in hopes Albertans could benefit?
I want electoral reform, I’d like conscious awakening to take place, of course, I don’t want Alberta or Western Canada to separate, but I would like to see them remind Canada of their importance. I’d like fiscal responsibility to come back to Canada and quite frankly I’d like Pierre Trudeau to placed in his proper context. There’s this myth in Eastern Canad that Pierre Trudeau did no wrong or that he was in some way superior to every other politician before him. No, ever since Pierre Trudeau left office, every single Canadian Prime minister has been left trying to clean up the mess Pierre Trudeau left behind.
Come on let’s be honest, Justin Trudeau is an embarrassment, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if I started seeing Canadians putting paper bags over their faces whenever Trudeau made a public speech. 29 years old, when he did blackface? and a lot of Black and South Asians completely excused his behavior, it’s not even to say Trudeau is good for the economy, because he’s not, it’s not to say Trudeau is good for social justice because he’s not, Trudeau is now in a position where social justice advocates at their leisure can expose Trudeau for being a phony. Sure Leftists may opt not to do this, but imagine if Trudeau goes on another one of his virtue signaling world tours? As a Canadian don’t you feel embarrassed? I do, I hope Alberta and Western Canada use this opportunity to send the establishment a message and I personally recommend you remove emotion from the equation and deal with facts.
Lastly, Albertan Separatists, don’t be cheerleaders, practice informing Albertans and Canadians as a whole the good and bad to your proposal. As an eastern Canadian, I’ll tell something factual, Leftists hate hard work, Leftists hate competition, Leftists obviously hate Capitalism and Leftists hate talking about economics. If you’re a an Albertan separatist, if you’re true freedom fighter don’t engage in the socialist banter, when children are ready to leave the comfort of mom and dad’s financial support, children will move out and live on their own. There’s little to discuss here, what Western Separatists should focus on is what Separation from Canada will look like.
You have expectations if the Liberals or Canada isn’t willing to negotiate, that’s fine, focus on growing your movement. Most Canadians are nice people, if people want to develop clean energy, that’s fine, but please do it with your own money, please do it with your own Provincial human capital, if the rest of Canada isn’t willing to work with the breadwinners, it’s best that Alberta start to imagine what Alberta post Canada.
I’d like to tell Ezra Levant and all the people at TheRebel.media I think you’re doing an excellent job, Obviously I don’t always agree with you, however you’re slowly replacing Canada’s mainstream media. SunNews and the National and Financial Post are the only other sources where I can consistently (not always) get multiple sides to a story, I appreciate what you do, everyone should consider donating and subscribing to their channel. Do Not let Trudeau or and Leftist political party control our freedom of speech. Thanks, TheRebel.media
Interesting times ahead!
