Michael Bloomberg vs. Donald Trump who would win the 2020 election? November 27, 2019,

When it comes to global markets a presidential election with Michael Bloomberg vs. Donald Trump would be a dream come true. However, if you’re into Austrian economics and have a decent grasp on manufacturing and the human element involved, you’d prefer a Donald Trump win. The problem, however, is next to Michael Bloomberg as far as money is concerned, Donald Trump is small potatoes, in regards to Donald Trumps’ braggadociousness Bloomberg is Donald Trumps’ worst nightmare.

However, in my opinion I’m not sure the Democrats hate Donald Trump enough to substitute him with another aging billionaire with less energy. Michael Bloomberg is more of a calculated thinker, which if you observe him close up can come across as him being a bit unstable if you observe him close up. Although that worked in New York, I’m not sure it will translate well in a Federal Election.

With that said Peter Schiff is the person, the brought this to my attention on his podcast. I found his podcast on youtube and marked the section in which Schiff mentions Bloomberg and Bernie Sanders.

Bernie Sanders is the perfect candidate to crash the economy, the words Democratic and Socialism aren’t mentioned in the U.S Constitution, socialism sounds nice when you’re young, it might even resonate with you when you’re old, but if you believe it works when the evidence suggests otherwise, chances are similar to Bernie Sanders you’ve never started a business in your life. Yea, you see those Asian business owners who keep convenience stores open 24/7/365 if you assume those people or those types of people are easily recreated in socialist atmosphere guess again.

In socialist conditions where a government person can simply make a decree to bankrupt you, nobody wants to do business there. Tobacco industry as an example, DESTROYED by the government, why is there a flourishing illegal drug environment? The government, Government is there to protect our liberties and freedoms, no chance of property rights without a government, but once the government gets into the business of price and wage controls, well this is where poverty flourishes. Honestly, I’m not sure of Bloomberg’s positions on economics, but he has to know more than Bernie Sanders.

Head to Head I’d pick Trump over Bloomberg, but I don’t think Trump will have an easy 2020 victory regardless of who the Democrats pick to represent them.

Interesting times ahead!
