Thank You, Ontario Premier Doug Ford – Ford government’s overhaul of crime victim compensation, should be replaced by Private Charities – October 11, 2019,
Leftists used to put their own personal time and their own personal energy into helping the less fortunate. Most of the social justice REGULATIONS that currently exist in Ontario were put there by bleeding-heart Liberals, but what’s been happening for years and years in Ontario is these so-called advocates no longer want to do the heavy lifting, instead, they want taxpayers to finance their social justice objectives, which continue to expand and expand. Now, the truth of the matter is money can’t make women who were sex trafficked whole again.
In the CBC article, I point to in this post, the writer Lisa Xing uses an entity which I’m not sure is a real person or not, she calls these individual Rebecca and Lisa Xing attempts to use money as the only saving grace for Rebecca.
Rebecca still struggles with what happened to her when her boyfriend forced her into the sex trade at 16, trapping her in that life for almost six months.
“I still have nightmares,” she told CBC Toronto during a telephone interview, adding it took her several years before she could go back to high school.
But the 21-year-old, who CBC News is not identifying for her protection, doesn’t know how much money she’ll receive from the province as a victim of crime, or if it will be enough to help her put her life back together.
“I lost everything. I’m starting to build things back up. More [money] would have helped me in the long run.”

How much money was 16-Year-Old Rebecca making before you low life Pimp boyfriend ‘Forced’ her into the sex trade?
So, let me get this straight, there’s a law-abiding young girl who stays out of trouble, doesn’t date crazy men, has a student loan, works a job maybe 2 jobs, possibly even volunteers, and does everything society tells her to do, t be an upstanding citizen, this law-abiding woman gets nothing in compensation, instead she has resources taken from her and given to people like Rebecca? With no say so in the matter?
If you listen to most women who get involved in the sex trade, a lot of them do so for the money. Yes, even at 16 years old a lot of teenage girls think about living a fast life. Now, if you’re a pencil-pushing, stay in the office and look at statistics, smile for the camera, lame politician, you’d fail to realize that in many instances what these children are lacking is leadership.
I worked in charities a lot of the people I worked with in charities are women and although many of the women who work in charities are for the expansion of the welfare state, they usually harbor these feelings because after you deal with enough people, you start to notice patterns in behavior, the main human pattern being people only change when they’re ready to change.
We live in a free society, we also live in a very charitable society, what separates private charities from the public sector is that charities are monitored by their donors whereas most of these government programs are intentionally mismanaged to attract more government funding.
Private Charities Must Be Properly Managed, Public Sector, Social Justice Government Programs are intentionally Mismanaged
When a government program solves a problem, that government program is usually dissolved. As an example, typically when Canadian soldiers do a mission they come home when the mission is completed. Now, if the mission is never completed, more money has to be pumped into completing the mission. In case, you were wondering this is why in many instances wars never end if you get paid to ” act a fool” what incentive do you have to stop acting a fool? None, of course. If you work at a charity and you actually try and get to know the people you’re trying to help, you’ll start to notice patterns in their behavior. If your charity is known to have the best food, and the best service, poor people will show up at your charity first.
If however, your good food comes with a consultation of that person who is receiving the charity’s mental health and maybe a prayer, what you’ll notice is that fewer people will show up, to your charity. You see if and when you actually do charitable work, you’ll start to notice that the consumer even a consumer with NO MONEY still has control over the people offering the services. So, when people like me say Poverty starts in the mind, this is what I mean.
Lisa Xing in her article below attempts to sell Rebecca as a non-human entity, that is somehow crippled to regain THE MONEY she apparently lost at 16? I call B.S to that if anything the problem Rebecca appears to have is a mental health crisis. There are thousands of people in Ontario who would love to mentor Rebecca, however, the real question is, is Rebecca opened to be mentored by someone who may ask her to get outside of her comfort zone? Also again, Rebecca doesn’t have to accept the free mentorship, as free person Rebecca has the right to turn down the free mentorship, however, according to the advocates the taxpayers, don’t have the right to deny Rebecca money?
In a Private Charity, the concept of barter still exists, when I give I expect that the child I’m sponsoring as an example is getting an education. I’ve personally put 2 people that are not related to me and are not living in Canada through college. These women come from harsh places in the world, and now they work and pay their own bills. I’m very demanding with the money I give to charity, if you don’t like the demands I make for the money I donate, don’t accept my money, I’m your equal, I’m no better than you and you’re no better than me. Maybe my life was more privileged than yours, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to allow you to enslave me via taxation or via any other method you come up with.
Liberals used to understand this, as a Christian, the Classical Liberals stance on separating church from state was an undeniable truth, but this idea that the People should be able to use the State to force the rest of us to finance Rebecca’s mistakes? I challenge this thinking and I appreciate Doug Ford for doing the same. Rebecca isn’t entitled to taxpayer dollars, because HER EX-BOYFRIEND apparently tricked her into getting involved in the sex-trade, that’s something they have to work out together.
People like Rebecca in actuality should if anything be starting their own private charity to prevent other women from getting into the same trap as she apparently got into, instead the government benefits she receives could actually serve as an enticement for more women to consider following Rebecca’s path. Because after all if other girls do something similar there will be government money waiting for them.
“They haven’t finished high school. They don’t have a home to live in and have no family support,” Nurse practitioner and researcher Naomi Thulien said. “Some of us in society need a little bit more just to even out the playing field.”

Now, think about that statement above made by Naomi Thulien and think about all the other people that fall under that category? The fact that Doug Ford even has to respond to such utter-nonsense shows you the challenges facing Canadian society in the future. Money doesn’t solve problems. People solve problems, volunteers solve problems, voluntary charity solves problems. Forced income redistribution creates problems where problems didn’t exist prior. Prior to all of these people demanding free money, women, like they are now, we’re getting more involved in solving the problems. Notice the laziness of the advocates? A level-playing field is someone born without limbs or born with a debilitating disease these people need help, and in most instances, these are the people reliant on private charities. If you’re wondering why many people in Ontario who really need government support aren’t getting it, it’s because of the wasteful government spending that Doug Ford is trying to bring light too.
PUBLIC SERVANTS DON’T WORK FOR FREE
There are several devices and tools available in Toronto to help protect women and children. There are also a lot of volunteers ready and willing to help people like Rebecca, the problem the government created is that Rebecca is getting free money and free money is a whole lot better than having someone challenging you. If I’m out of shape and being financed to remain out of shape, sell me on why I should get back into shape? Because I’ll feel better? No, I feel good with the financing, because I’ll be healthier? Well, this free money is making feel healthy right now? Go ahead sell me on why I should change if I’m being praised, financed and rewarded by the government to be a victim?
Thank you, Doug Ford, although I’m not a Conservative I appreciate what you’re trying to do! I’d like to see more of you so-called advocates actually do some on-going real-world on the ground charitable work!
Interesting times ahead!
