Is The People’s Party of Canada Dead? Does Maxime Bernier Have What it Takes To Give It a Go For 2023 – October 23, 2019,
The National Post via Douglas Quan, wrote what I think was a very fair, well-written article after Maxime Bernier was defeated in devastating fashion by Conservative Beauce supply-management competitor Richard Lehoux. Knowing what I know about Quebec, I’m not surprised, modern-day Quebec can’t survive without government intervention, Quebec can’t prosper to the degree it does without Western Canada. It’s even hard to interpret particular Liberty principles into their proper context in the French Language, it’s not by an error that Germanic derived languages, tend to comprehend free-market capitalism better than Romantic Latin derived languages.
One of the reasons people Liberty seekers often preach the doctrine of staying out of foreign entanglements revolves around language. Language is often a sign of history, it’s a privilege to speak the English language, it’s a privilege to speak German Deutsch, what do I often write about? Austrian economics, individualism, the Nordic people have tried every single form of collectivism, so much so that West Germanic languages have certain words that simply can’t be interpreted correctly in many Latin countries. It’s not to say that certain words can’t accurately understand in Latin derived languages, it’s just that some of these words would come across as novel or unproven people speaking Latin languages.
Catholicism is a huge part of Latin culture and being Catholic in many ways is a form of religious collectivism whereby a human authority figure can be viewed by some Catholics as the person who has the ability to know more than the common man or woman, this of course effects how many Latin derived countries government themselves, this politician in particular seems to know more than the rest of us and therefore we will put our trust in this politician.
When Hitler rose to power after the ordeal was done, most Germans felt embarrassed about what happened and in actuality, the Nazi’s rise to power took the entire world by surprise, Because Germans were always viewed as very smart people, the mere fact that they allowed a dictator to rule over them based on their history, is still viewed by some as comical or an anomaly, but what people forget is that German had suffered hyper-inflation in their currency and poor and desperate people have a way of doing stupid crap. Hitler provided what many in Germany thought was a quick solution and large portion of their population bought in, but one must remember that it was the failure of socialism that created the rise of Hitler. No matter how smart or no matter how high a peoples IQ might be, once their standard of living deviates or decreases, people often start to look out for their own self-interests.
When Beauce Quebec voted for their Conservative candidate Richard Lehoux they did what almost every people do when they want to protect their standard of living, the vote for the familiar or what they believe is the safe candidate, until people see or actually feel a decline in their standard of living, they’re not going to vote for the fringe candidate. The Nazi Party was the National Socialist Party, Hitler had been thrown out of the German Socialist Party, being that there was nothing that even resembled Individualism in Hitler’s ideals, he had to appeal to people on a different level.
Successful socialists typically do what Elizabeth May and Jagmet Singh do, which is in the case of Elizabeth she creates a boogyman called Climate Change deniers and she’d use climate change deniers as reason for her Climate Change Nazi salute, this was her way to bring her followers to do her bidding which in Canada is to shut down Alberta and raise taxes to pay the people she likes. Personally I don’t know what the modern-day NDP stands for, however, what the NDP used to do was they’d be the collective or socialist party of Labor Unions, so similar to Hitler the NDP would use “workers Rights” as their Nazi Salut, these greedy capitalists exploit working people and we the NDP will stand together to stop those infidels from exploiting our labour.
In the case of the Bloc Quebecois, they of course, paint English speakers as the Infidels who are somehow exploiting Quebecers and therefore Quebecers will outsmart those English speakers and force them to subsidize our standard of living, National Socialism exists all over the world, however it has different names, different cause and goes under different banners, most educated English speakers can easily identify socialism as can people speak other Germanic derived languages. Because of the makeup of the English language, there’s a conscious effort to keep English speakers dumbed down. Now, no offense to Quebec, or French speakers but if Canadians weren’t burdened with the French language, this country would look a lot different. It’s not to say that Canada wouldn’t have its problems it’s that the solutions to those problems would be more obvious.
The challenge for Maxime Bernier is actually to make the decision if he’s ready to continue the fight? Because chances are Maxime Bernier would have been rewarded with a victory if his riding wasn’t in nearby Quebec City. It’s unlikely in my opinion that Quebec is going to change anytime soon, I’ve even heard Maxime Bernier say that he’d welcome Socialists into the People’s Party of Canada? Are you sure Maxime? Are you sure you want to do that, because in English, dealing with socialists is like dealing with Hitler minus the overt violence. Most English speakers know this, most educated English speakers will accept socialism if society can pay for it, but we’d know its socialism, there’s a huge difference between being consciously aware of what socialism is versus being completely ignorant that socialism has been proven to destroy societies.
Socrates was a classical Greek philosopher credited as one of the founders of Western philosophy, Greek is a Latin derived language, but it should be noted how Socrates was killed, Socrates challenged democracy, he was right to do so, but the development of debate has to come through trial and error. Capitalism ended slavery, but you see that’s hard for most civilizations to accept, America is hard for most civilizations to accept, free-market capitalism is hard for most people to digest, because only via debate can the myth of socialism be put to rest, and most of those debates for capitalism or individualism tend to happen in English and in Dutch! Hitler similar to the modern Leftists had to burn books and ban freedom of speech, in most collectivist, socialists hell holes you better be careful with what you say, you don’t want to offend Greta Thunberg, you don’t want to offend the Blacks, or offend the Muslims, Offend the Gays, offend the Quebecers or you’ll be labeled a racist.
So, the socialists will argue, let’s ban this word or ban this behavior or ban these types of books because we don’t want people to engage in thought crimes. Let your government decide what’s best for you, let your government pick winners and losers where it sees fits, let your government create laws that are very similar to Hitler but not as overt. You know, let’s lock this person up, ruin someone’s life or fine a person ridiculous amount of money because they uttered words or did non-violent things that the government deemed as unacceptable.
The reason most English speaking Canadians voted for the Conservative Party is that they know what they’re going to get. The Conservative Party has been around longer, they’re familiar, they’ve beaten the Liberals before. Most Canadians similar to me don’t care much for immigration, I’ve been preaching the message, over and over again, attack welfare, stop financing immigration, end mass migration? Really? How about let’s stop financing mass migration, the message wasn’t clear, the vision wasn’t clear, the mission wasn’t clear, but that’ all fine. That’s yesterday’s news.
Moving forward the question Maxime Bernier has to ask himself is does he have what it takes to keep fighting? The reason why people prefer to stay out of foreign entanglements is that all humans have a right to remain ignorant. Africa as an example, there are a lot of French-speaking Africans, but the main reason Africa has many problems revolves around their government’s protectionist, socialist policies. English speaking India, lots of protectionism and socialism, India isn’t poor because of Capitalism, do you know how many capitalists would love to solve India’s problems, we can’t? India is chock-full tariffs, the India government would tariff your business out of existence, yet in Western Countries, we’re welcoming, we don’t even hide how we govern ourselves, but there are groups of people that will use manipulative tactics and this includes English speaking Canada to force honest Canadians to subsidize their lifestyle.
This is basically why Tim Moen takes in my opinion takes the passive position he takes. Liberty is hard to swallow, the mass migration argument, doesn’t appeal to me, there are tons of WHITE countries that have a hard time attracting immigrants, why? Because there’s no welfare system, there’s no legal system these countries that immigrants can exploit, when immigrants go to those countries they’d have to start at the bottom, like everybody else. Immigrants don’t want to start at the bottom? They want to have an unfair, unearned advantage, and why shouldn’t they?
Canadians pride themselves on not being Americans, I’ve even heard Maxime Bernier describe his movement as a Populist movement, I don’t want to be part of a populist movement, although Trump has done some good for the U.S economy, he also hasn’t cut spending, this will come back to haunt the American people, when the recession hits America, people like me will be very interested in seeing what will happen to Canada. Being that Trudeau won a minority government, my investments have already begun to change. Trudeau is an idiot, but the mere fact that he still has so many followers does tell you something about how many idiots there are in Canada, who assume economies simply fix themselves.
Maxime can you appeal to voters? Conservatives look at the bottom line, even if they disagree with you, they want to know that your vision is realistic. This devastating loss will show me if Maxime Bernier has what it takes or if he’s just another opportunistic politician from Quebec. I think the article written below was fair and I’m curious to see how Maxime Bernier responds to it. After all, it has only been in existence for about a year and truth be told when you look at the numbers, he appears to have tapped into a different type of voter, who doesn’t appear to be voting strategically. Ultimately Liberty isn’t populism and my hope was that Maxime Bernier would take a more longer-term approach to politics.
Interesting times ahead
