Personally i think when a person choses to get into internet marketing he or she has to learn a few lessons first. It’s funny because i’ve  learned this lesson myself and again this reiterates the reason why 1% of the internet marketers online make most of money and by the way i am not in that one percent.

The reason is simple stop cutting corners, Most of you won’t believe me when i tell you this mainly because i’m not a guru with a flashy sales page but the best way to build a targeted response list is building it and testing it on your own. Personally i use pay per click marketing to build my list. What I tend to do on a daily basis is set up a campaign usually on Adwords and then build my list that way.

I am a very cheap guy i tend to find top converting keywords that cost me a lot less than what most people are paying.  I can almost bet that i can get more customers to click on my ad and subscribe to my list and PAY LESS than what most of you spend to advertise on RENT-A-LIST.com (haha!!!). Another thing is my subscribers are TARGETED!!!. When i say targeted i mean i have much more control than those of you using Rent-a-list.com’s service.

I was where most of you are today looking for the easy route to wealth online but i’m here to inform you that things don’t work like that (well at least in my world they don’t) Companies like Google and eBay didn’t rise to the top for no reason they rose to the top because the are making people RICH.

If you are a real internet marketer the only thing that may scare you about Google or even eBay is that they might get taken over by major corporate interests. But you don’t even need to use google you can use other pay per click platforms such as Yahoo, bing, myspace, Facebook and host of others. These advertising platforms give you the ability to TARGET. Not just target but target in a well respected atmosphere. Yahoo for example is on the news people think internet people think yahoo if you are seen on Yahoo its like having a T.V commercial online. People will seriously consider what you have to offer.

Another thing most people fail to understand about pay per click marketing is that you only “pay per click” the views alone will bring attention to your website which in turn creates back links because people start talking asking questions, it also demands authority people will assume you have money or that you operate a legitimate business with a good reputation. Companies like Rent-a-list.com at the moment anyway don’t have the power to do that for your website(s).

How many people do you know that use Rent a List

Do you know a million people that wake up in the morning turn on their computers and type Rent-a-list.com i doubt you do yet and still most of you will spend upwards to $300 or even more on advertising there. Another thing people don’t remember about email marketing is that just because your email is SENT to 1 million people, it doesn’t mean 1 million people will check their email accounts.
