Show a little Appreciation to Western Canada, Albertan energy is more than just Oil – November 12, 2019,
Quite frankly, I’d prefer to write about Libertarian themed articles, financials, wealth creation, making money online, offline etc. But I’ve found myself addicted to writing about the well being of my country. When I write I could care less if people take bits and bites of my article and use it to formulate their own arguments, my end goal is to hopefully get the mainstream media in Canada to understand that what they’re doing to the minds of the young is irreversible, once the realization happens that Canada can no longer pay its bills.
Getting a loan, any loan is a blessing, we’re fortunate in Canada to be currently in a position where the world thinks so much of us that they’ll allow us to run endless deficits, with the assumption that our economy is manageable. This way of life we enjoy, this standard of living we’ve come entitled to expect revolves around hard work and not welfare, although the government of Canada believes that the success of Canada is primarily as the result of their policies the truth is quite the opposite, I have to remind Canadians of how lucky we are to be bordered with the United States.
A lot of the entitlements we currently enjoy, wouldn’t be possible if the U.S Government wasn’t more competent, with their management. Donald Trump is basically the first U.S President I’ve ever know, to call out Canada directly for some of the sly economic tactics we use against America to get an economic advantage. If Canada was bordered with Russia or even Europe, they’d tariff us when we did a tariff on them, in America, Canada is labeled Canuckistan for a reason. A lot of Canada’s political and economic policies are very protectionist in nature. Protectionism typically doesn’t end well, protectionism is basically why European nations had to create the European Union.
Italy is now dreaming of bringing back the Lire because the European dollar is preventing Italy from paying public sector bills with inflated currency. When countries are forced to be economically responsible, the truth comes out, the truth for most parts of the world is protectionism and protectionism revolves around the growing of the Public Sector. We don’t want to let market forces control our country, why? Because a large chunk of the world doesn’t want to work hard and don’t want to have to save money. Why save when the government can print? When the government prints money, bills can be paid temporary… But the worst part of money printing is what it does to the culture of the people.
You see, welfare should actually be done by the private sector, because when it’s done by the public sector, there’s a demand for the public sector to do more, being that Politicians, especially modern-day politicians are basically Justin Trudeau types, there’s an assumption that throwing money at poverty ends it. Now, what ends poverty is greedy, namely the greed of the poor. The standard of living for a poor person in Canada is a lot higher than a middle class or even rich person in a third world country, but you see via the Leftists and globalists media machine, there’s a sense of entitlement by the people who don’t work.
People who don’t work, meaning they don’t pay income taxes, demand the rich pay more taxes? This, of course, leads to delusions, when taxes are raised and the rich pay more, the Leftists create something new, something like the Green New Deal, to put more people into debt to appease global governments who assume what they’re actually doing is stimulating job growth. But it’s actually these government interventions that kill jobs and kill the incentive to work. Because as people are starting to learn, Albertans aren’t lazy, the Albertan economy isn’t in debt and Albertans are financing the standard of living for the rest of Canada.
Rex Murphy and Don Cherry
Now, media people like Rex Murphy who have been around for a long time, know this stuff immediately, but what I think is even shocking him is how ignorant Canadians are to how important Alberta is to Canada. Recently Don Cherry was fired for speaking his truth on the national airwaves, everyone knows Don Cherry has been a target of the left years. I don’t watch many sports, but if I turn on the TV and Don Cherry is speaking I’d listen for the entire duration, Ron Maclean guy could have been anyone if you ask me.
No offense to Ron Maclean, Don Cherry carried that show, people don’t expect anyone person to be perfect, it’s the reality of the world, we all say things, freedom of speech, but once there’s a Nanny State establishment, politicizing everything you read or watch, well you’re creating a different type of human. Canadians are already know as bland, is it possible for us to get blander? Don Cherry added color to hockey, he inserts foot in mouth sometimes, but that’s what freedom, freedom of speech is all about. I expect no human being to be perfect and for a personality like his, this should have been written into his contract, Don Cherry has always been like this. He should have grounds to sue the people who hired him.
‘I MEANT IT’: Don Cherry fired over controversial poppy comment | torontosun.com
Personally I didn’t see anything wrong with what Don Cherry said, but even if he did say something wrong, with all of his years of service, you’re really going to fire him for that 1 little comment? Well, all I can say is, one day the Nanny State is going to come for you to Canada.
The nanny state is coming for Alberta, and this is Alberta’s chance to respond, Rex Murphy has been regulated to the opinion column on the national post, because what he wrote below, I guess is a wee bit controversial? It’s really not controversial however, we all know the mainstream media in Canada is on Justin Trudeau’s payroll, even if they wanted to speak up, most people in Canada’s mainstream media wouldn’t dare. Imagine having to write the details of what Alberta and Western Canada mean to the federation? It wouldn’t be a pretty read, it would actually be quite frightening, because Alberta leaving or even taking the position Quebec takes, equates to major changes to the Canadian way of life.
I don’t like socialism, I don’t like government welfare, however, if a country, a province a municipality is solvent enough to be able to offer Welfare, to offer its people pensions, who am I to get in their way? My philosophy is anti-welfare state, however, my ideas can be challenged, I’m equal to any other human with an opinion and the truth is, Alberta is ver solvent and if it didn’t have to send money to Ottawa so Ottawa cold redistribute its wealth to indebted provinces in the federation, who knows what Alberta would have looked like? I had to correct myself for some statements I wrote about Alberta a few years ago, because it came to my attention that a lot of the incompetencies in Alberta stem from their tax base being forced to contribute to equalization payments.
As a business owner myself, I have to account for government regulations and also government monopolies when I invest in my business, there are a lot of business owners in Ontario for example that intentionally don’t grow their businesses because of the government. Why grow my business if I’m going to be Demonized by Justin Trudeau, Jagmet Singh or whoever is now the leader of the Green Party? In many parts of Europe, this is what communism or big government did to the people, it made the people start doing just enough to survive. Why speak out like Don Cherry if my reward is exile? If I’ going to speak out like Rex Murphy I better do it in a tame manner, I don’t want to frighten the public
I highly recommend Canadians read the article below:

Interesting times ahead!
