The tax and spend era of the world is coming to an end…
As I’ve been writing for years the era of Governments controlling people with higher taxes is coming to end. Western Europe is starting to awaken to the reality that socialism and communism do not work. But the better question is what does work? Well real Americans for years have said capitalism is the way to go however the perception of capitalism in the minds of most people is that capitalism makes the rich richer and the truth is in many ways this is the case but what people never talk about is why the rich get richer in any form government.
The reason the rich get richer is because they focus on the bottom line and don’t base their wealth decisions on emotions. In the tax and spend era the idea politicians sell to their citizens is if we tax the rich and wealthy we “the government” will be able to take care of you the helpless people. What this does to people that fall for this crap is it gives these individuals the ability to shift the blame from themselves to the evil rich people. What typically goes unnoticed to the people that fall for this garbage is the fact that in most instances the politician that is selling this ideal is also rich and/or wealthy person too, and in many ways the politician whether knowingly or unknowingly is taking more money and POWER from the people in exchange for the Austerity measures.
Countries like Spain and Greece are learning about this and the sad part is what these people might not want to face is that building great nation takes HARD WORK. A lot of people have forgotten is what hard really work means and the truth is many people in western Europe have been living off the wealth of their parents who probably fought hard for socialist type programs that not only cost the tax payer money but also gives people this false sense of security.
Example every time an employee fights for higher pay and more benefits employers who are in many instances part of public or private corporations begin to think of ways to minimizes expenses and maximize profits. They’ll usually first go to the politicians and depending on the current wealth of the nation the country might decide it’s not in it’s best interest to help the company. When this happens the public or private corporation will either relocate to places like “China” or they’ll make move that will legally lesson their tax or liability burdens. When big corporations make moves like this it has a devastating impact on a country however the devastation usually isn’t felt right away because in this era fiat currency governments can hide the problem for a few years with money printing. However once enough jobs have left the country socialism starts to sure why it works mostly in theory and not in practice.
Hard work is honestly about working for yourself entrepreneurship or self employment is and will always be the way to go. Our school system is teaching people how to be high paid employees and not how to be high paid entrepreneurs and the tax and spend era of government is also set up to make the most money from EMPLOYEES because as it’s been proven time and time again Employers or the self employed typically opt for flexibility and hate feeling like they’re being controlled.
How do we change the world
Entrepreneurship needs to be promoted more in schools especially in universities and colleges, economics needs to be a focus in colleges and universities for ALL students especially those living in first world nations. The reason the world is so stagnant is because most people have no idea what the driving force of our economy is. Most people think the driving force of the economy is WAR when in fact it’s innovation. Our patent system for example needs serious reform because this is stunting our economy. Our current patent system makes entrepreneurship harder because entrepreneurs especially those online are scared of being sued.
Our tax system needs to be changed but the problem with changing it is most people have no idea why it needs to be changed because most people have no idea of why higher taxes slows down an economy because instead of us teaching students about economics which teach them about evil rich people. We should instead teach students how people and businesses are becoming so rich. We should be teaching students that some of these public corporations have so much wealth that in many instances they’re buying countries bonds just so they can get tax breaks and pass laws in those countries that are favourable to their business.
EDUCATION about how our world works and real debates on the topic will have help change the fortunes of the world. If people understood economics not only would the tax and spend era come to an end it would be replaced with something more efficient and predictable. America as an example has tons of jobs available but the problem is most people don’t want to do those jobs. Ask a person if they’ll pick grapes to take care of their family or go on welfare and 9.9 out of 10 will choose the welfare yet these same people expect to but food with money given to them tax dollars.
Entrepreneurship and innovation are the only real ways out of this economic mess. I agree with welfare programs and helping out our fellow countrymen however the world especially many first world nations have reached a period in time where it makes more sense to take government hand outs than it does to find a job. Foreigners come into first world nations and find employment doing the things that everyday people of that nation don’t want to do! Then the citizens blame their government for no jobs or they blame their governments because jobs don’t pay enough. Whether people are in the skills trades or not they should be taught about economics, how money works, entrepreneurship and employment and immigration.
EDUCATION! Some say we’re in the information age now I disagree I believe we’ve always been in the information age what we’re in now is the conceptual age and our educational system needs to do a better job preparing people for THE REAL WORLD! where things don’t just fix themselves because fiat currency/money people; real people are the driving force of our economy and if we teach them about the world we live in they’ll be able to make better decisions on how to make this world a better place.
