Text To Fido
Be careful what of who you choos to use to send out fido tet messages because some of the third party text messaging providers might be costing you money. It’s not a new scam going on or anything but allot of people don’t pay attention to it and it’s getting worse because SMS or not person to person text messages and all some of these services need is your phone number and before you know it you have a bunch of telemarketers harrassing your phone.
Also one serious recommendation is if your going to use a third party service to send out text messages be sure that the company doesnt ask you for your phone number. Thats a huge. Also you might want to read the terms whenever your email is concerned because they might sell that too. SMS messages for those who dont know might cost or be costing you money you might want to check your phone bill.
I recommend sending text messages onlin directly from your email address especially if your from Canada because the canadian consumer is who they are targeting next. If your not using the corporate website send your text messages from your email address. the information on how to do this is below.
Again My recommendation is to send sms messages from your email address or on the corporate website (example: rogers, fido, bell) to avoid unwanted spam i would just send messages from your email address. Because all of these companies request you add in your email address anyway. So if you have like lets say a windows or yahoo messenger you can send it directly there. Below is all the carriers i know of in Canada i will updat this page if anyone wants some new address i will add the legit ones.
You need to replace the (Recipients 10-digit phone number)with your recipients phone number. Example, If your friend’s number was
416-555-5555 and their cell phone carrier was Rogers, you would send your email to [email protected]. Make sure theres no spaces like in the example. ok enjoy
