The Laurentide Ice Sheet and Thwaites Glacier AKA the so-called “Doomsday Glacier”: Climate Change hysteria Lie Exposed – September 11, 2022,
It’s getting increasingly difficult for Mainstream outlets to LIE about climate change; if you haven’t been paying attention, one of the strategies you’ve noticed about the Biden administration as well as the Mainstream media is to repeat identical talking points, so if let’s say all the information you get comes directly from the television, you’d imagine fiction to be fact, remember “Putin’s Price Hike.” The powers that be are trying to push a similar agenda with Climate Change.
As a Canadian, for obvious reasons, when I was growing up, we were taught about The Laurentide Ice Sheet because, after all, why would the Eskimos be living in Igloos? We all wanted to know why Toronto was so warm compared to when the First Nations people were living; well, the answer to that question was that the weather was warming.
So for people like myself who know the games the socialist/Left Wingers play, I was always skeptical about “Global Warming” because we grew up knowing the globe was warming long before fossil fuels, in fact, how we imagined it as children were that technology would save us from the earth NATURALLY warming. Climate Change alarmism starts when Al Gore lost the presidency to George Bush and Al Gore discovered how much money he can make in the private sector pushing a “Global Warming” agenda. Both Al Gore and John Kerry by the way, are some of the richest former politicians in the world.
Anyway, in this post, I wanted to point out the conflicting views from NBC News vs. the News Coming for the Washington Post.
NBC News, obviously pushing an agenda, writes a piece titled ‘Doomsday’ glacier could melt faster than previously thought and consider what is written in that article.

“About 100 years ago, it retreated faster than it is currently retreating. … You could say that’s good news, because it’s not so bad now compared to what it was in the past,” said a co-author of the study, Anna Wåhlin, a professor of physical oceanography at Sweden’s Gothenburg University. “But you can also say that it’s bad news because it could happen again.”
Did you miss that? The glacier retreated faster in the past. I left the link for you to read the article in full for yourself. Now we get to the Washington Post article. now with Washington Post they have a paywall, so they make me attempting to prove my point more difficult, but in the Washington Post article they make the following claim
A ‘doomsday glacier’ the size of Florida is disintegrating faster than thought | washingtonpost.com
According to a news release accompanying the study, researchers concluded that the glacier had “lost contact with a seabed ridge” and is now retreating at a speed of 1.3 miles per year — a rate double what they predicted between 2011 and 2019.
Unlike some other glaciers that are connected to dry land, Thwaites is grounded in the seabed, making it more vulnerable to warming waters as a result of human-induced climate change.
Now, why I use The Laurentide Ice Sheet is that you’ll notice the amount of modern Seas The Laurentide Ice Sheet was connected to, and the melting of that Ice Sheet had NOTHING to do with so-called man-made climate change; it was a NATURAL occurrence. I comprehend that some people imagine that they’re smarter than they are or would prefer to push a narrative that fits the agenda they’re attempting to push, but when ice is melting, there comes a period in which the melting accelerates because it’s SHRINKING.
If I freeze some water in the Freezer and take it out of the freezer and leave it at room temperature, it will melt slowly at first, but the melting process will accelerate the more unfrozen it becomes. Now, if we didn’t have these silly Authoritarian climate change alarmists attempting to scare everyone into phasing out fossil fuels, we could start using existing technology to prepare humanity for what might be coming.

Yes, the sea levels could be rising, but solar panels and wind turbines aren’t going to reverse this process; now if we accepted that this could be a natural occurrence or this could be man-made climate change, we could take a more SERIOUS approach to the multiple ways we could attack sea levels rising or even differing weather patterns.
What annoys me about these climate change alarmists is they’re behaving as if their way is the ONLY way we should look at things. In contrast, if there is a problem, whether it’s man-made or not, we should be approaching it from a PRACTICAL perspective. We should be FREELY using the human mind to consider multiple ways we could approach a potentially changing world.

It’s not to say we shouldn’t consider renewables. Still, clearly, current renewable technology hasn’t arrived yet and what we should be doing is, preparing the planet for a potentially warmer future by expanding existing technologies and allowing new innovative options to flourish because there are quite a few hybrid technologies that seek to combine fossil fuels with renewables. What I’m getting at here is we really need a more ROBUST approach to addressing what could be a warming planet.
