TheBacklinkBuilders Scam

Posted on July 6, 2010August 28, 2010 by RichInWriters

TheBacklinkBuilders.com Scam

looking at this website it clearly shows the user that it is infact sending users worthless backlinks. This is one of those things where what you don’t know will hurt you. I am here to warn anyone considering using this service that it might actually get you banned from the search engines. if you have an active site like a constantly updated blog it probably won’t do anything to you. but if you have lets say a normal website that you don’t update frequently you better believe you will get banned from the major search engines using a service like this one.

In general back linking only helps active websites. if you have a stand still website that is rarely updated i would recommend getting an SEO service or using pay per Click marketing. Ofcourse if you want to see fast results Pay per Click marketing is where it’s at but SEO is still a good option as well.

In many ways Pay per click marketing can improve your traffic ranking faster than SEO or Back Linking ever could but most people are still asleep to this fact. Search engines in general reward websites that can keep a visitor on their website for more than a minute. Because it shows under a specific keyword that your website had what the customer wanted.

There’s allot of simple tricks allot of people would learn if they stuck with pay per click marketing none the less on the topic of thebacklinkbuilders.com they clearly say forum posts backlinks on their websites once you see those words you should automatically think XRumer. if you don’t know what XRumer is then you might want to think twice before trusting some random backlink company to handle such an important aspect of you web based business.

only 10% of the people make 90% of the money online for reason best of luck to you!

OK I fell for this, and this guy is a scam indeed. His MO after 5 days is to send you an email saying that he sent you a report of your backlinks to your email but that “it might be in your spam folder” if you don’t see it. Nothing was in the spam folder so he made no attempt to follow through on this service. I sent paypal an email at their [email protected] and [email protected] to let them know of this guy’s scam!, Sooner or later his paypal account will be jacked as in “SUSPENDED”.

I am a website owner of http://www.995sunglasses.com we are a new discount designer sunglasses website selling sunglasses for 9.95 each and we were looking to pay for some back links to help our ranking, and I am sorry to say that the backlinkbuilders.com is no place to patronage. They are a big scam and will just steal your money.

I talked to their support before trying to buy 9.99 package. They are scammers! They will sell you backlinks that are worthless. They sell backlinks that are not indexed in search engines! They gave me an example

    AVOID AT ANY COST!

My name is THE BOJAM I am a semi successful director/writer in the Massachusetts area and i thought i would just take a second to place a comment on this page regarding what you are all referring to. I have done a lot of research as to how to get the most efficient back links to your site and anyone reading this please take it into consideration. The best ways to get relevant back links on your site is to do one of two things. One is spend the time doing it yourself, one at a time over the course of months. ideally no one wants to do that but you get the ability to choose who you work with and who you are linked to this way and ultimately you gain reputable site back links and over time you get what you are looking for. The other way is to pay someone, not one of these online sites that you are reading about here but look for someone local that you can literally sit down with and watch their progress for what you are paying them for. THOSE seem to be the only two honest ways to get according back links to your site. http://www.bojampro.com/BOJAM_Productions.php

I thought that they might be scammers, or at least ineffective at obtaining backlinks, so I went to a search engine and entered: BaclinkBuilders.com Scam. Needless to say, I found this blog, and now I know that my initial scam thoughts about the BacklinkBuilders.com website are true… In other words, I did my research before spending my hard-earned money!! Good Luck to everybody, and I hope you are eventually successful with obtaining good backlinks to your website(s)…

If it sounds to good to be true, generally speaking it always is. One method I recommend is find high ranking article directories that give a back link. Then write a google article to submit to them. Make sure to compile and grow your list. If you steadily work on this for at least an hour a day, you’ll start getting 50 good one way back links a month.

I just got a paypal charge of $19.99. It was paid to thebacklinkbuilders.com. I’m disputing the charge, as I didn’t authorize this transaction. I’ve never even heard of them before. I don’t know if they are actually involved in the Paypal scam, or if someone else hacked my account.

Hi! To the post owner, I think judging one site or company without trying the services first is unfair. I completely understand each and every opinion in this post, and we believe that we have the right to do so.

The Profile Backlinks package that we are offering in our site is recommended for established websites only, and for those sites who have already established and built links towards to their site. All information that every possible customer must know is posted in our FAQ Section. Of course, that is not the only package that we are offering. We have other great packages that are perfect for newer sites – Blog and other Web 2.0 services, forum commenting and submission to High PR Article Directories. Moreover, I am not here to promote the website or something.

To the people who think they have been scammed:

I am truly sorry to know that we made you feel that way. But, our company is always open to all inquiries and hesitations. If there is anything else that we can do to resolve the problem, you may always reach us through our “Contact Us” page. I just came across this post, and we’re sorry if it took too long for us to respond and give our side on this.

PS: Please be reminded that “thebacklinkbuilders.com” and “backlinkbuilders.com” are completely two different companies with two different owners. It pays to verify it yourself rather than listening to rumors.

    Thank you,

I did some research before I actually got suckered into this little companies business. I found out quite a bit.

    thebacklinkbuilders.com scam?

    1. I had a nice chat conversation with someone on their website who assured me they were an American Company out of Washington. Being that they were from the neighboring city, I was a little confused when they were clueless as to what I was talking about. They said over and over they were American, so I believed them. Personally, I do not care really but honestly is everything.

    2. I called up to be a subscriber during the times they put on the website, what happened was strange. First of all, they were closed during work hours. Second, a filipina left a machine message there that said to wait on hold. 100% positive it was a filipina. 3rd, they made me wait 3 minutes before the beep came and told me to leave a message.

    3. I got back on the site and the lady on the machine kept saying “based out of washington” and I told her that I knew they were not, she said maybe I can submit my question about their location to the sales email or something like that. She said she was not allowed to give out location information.

    4. I went out and did my research because the domain is NOT hidden and the person who owns the website sure enough is in Makati Philippines.

    5. Why in the world would someone say they were in the US if they were not????? Why would they not put up their address on their website????? Why do they not answer the phone during supposed work hours???? Maybe because they sleep during the night in the Philippines when its day in the US???? Why tell me they have 18 employees in Sammamish Washington when they do NOT.

Are they a scam??? You be the judge but I am not doing business with them.

Hello, I almost purchased something from their website the 9.99 for a thousand profile links and also had a chat with someone named “fiona” She was very nice however something seemed off about it. I asked if they pinged their sites and she said no that I would just see a natural progression. I am very leery of any service that doesn’t ping their sites because I have been burned before with the lie they tell that “oh you will see results little by little over time” yea.. and that never happened so if they aren’t pinging sites for people to see results quickly then they can forget it.

I believe this to be a scam also. When I asked the chat rep if i would be able to see the links in yahoo site explorer she said.. “no usually in google” any seo experts would know what yahoo site explorer was. She clearly had no idea what I was talking about.

Try buying with Paypal so you can redeem the Amount when you got not promised Results.

With the number of negative comments I found on their website, I still thought I’d give the website a chance. I’ve had a nice chat with one of their representatives (I can’t remember the name though), and here are two things that she clarified with me:

    1. BACKLINKBUILDERS.COM is different from THEBACKLINKBUILDERS.COM

    2. If you just pay close attention to their site, they offer other packages, and if you people just stop complaining about their services, then stop using it!

    Hi guys,

That is just insane when people fall into such programs. When all you have to do is a bit of daily routine work that takes 30 to 60 minutes of your time. But you will definitely be rewarded by getting quality backlinks that work and last without paying any monthly fees. Here, thegermz.com/ramblings/backlinking-methods-germz-employs/ is the list of easy to follow methods we use to get some real and relevant backlinks.

Take some time to have a look

I see that backlink software is brought up. I just got an email pertaining to BacklinkBrigand com; This is new software with seemingly excellent capabilities: It posts to in excess of 23 distinctive platforms and you can teach new targets to boot. Could someone express her or his review of this application? Many thanks

    The backlinkbuilders places profile backlinks.

Profile backlinks are brand new content on the internet, so it would make sense that they would not be indexed automatically, because the search engines will certainly not know they exist. The search engines need time to find new content. In my experience, it can take google up to 45 days to find new content on the interent.

There are dozens of free ping services that can mass ping backlinks online, so i don’t think its an issue at all that the backlinkbuilders does not ping your links. It can be done by the user in a matter of minutes. You can ping thousands of backlinks on these sites in just a few minutes. Bulkping.com and pingdevice.com are two examples, to name afew.

Just because the backlink packages are cheap does not mean they are bad. I have had plenty of success increasing my sites rankings with profile backlinks. What is more important that profile backlinking is making sure on-page optimizaiton is performed first. without on-page optimization, a backlinking campaign will get you nowhere….unless your keyword is your domain name.

Relevant link buidling, quality link building, article building, any link building method will yeild poor results, without on page optimization.

Some websites can get extremely high rankings for their keywords just for having the keyword in their domain/URL. without backlinks.

I have used the backlink builders services, and i have been satisfied with the results.

Also, in my experience, profile backlinks will never show up in the backlink checkers. But just because a backlink does not show up in the backlink checkers does not know that they do not exist.

the backlinkcheckers all have their own way of determining what a backlink is. If you go to 6 different backlink checking sites, they can report a huge variation in the number of bakclinks that website has. I have seen two sites display a 2 million difference in the number of links a site has.

Whats more important that having backlinks show up in the backlink checkers is having increased rankings for your keywords.

This can be done with on page optimizaiton, and any backlinking method, including profile backlink building-relevant link building etc..

Personally, i have done relevant link building and profile backlink building for my site. In my experience, both link building methods work equally well, as long as your site has been properly optimized for its keywords.

It is very difficult for a site to get good rankings, or increased rankings unless it has been optimized for its keywords.

    Cheerio fellas!
