Unemployment and job creation statistics data in Canada are based on surveys most economists don’t put faith in – July 4, 2019,
When it comes to the Canadian economy, the headlines bother me the most, not so much that they’re click bait, but because they often make headlines that make people assume that they know enough based on the title of the article, not to read the actual article. About a week ago, the CBC took a shot at The Post Millenial (thepostmillennial.com) basically trying to refer to it as politically biased towards the Conservative Party of Canada.
In America, no equivalent to the CBC exists, PBS(pbs.org) survives via donations in the case of the CBC they survive via forced Canadian taxpayer buyouts, and because of this dependence, it’s in the CBC’s best interests to if the winner of the election isn’t going to cut their funding. Now, truth be told although the fear of many people at the CBC is another round of Conservative politics infecting the Canadian voter, Stephen Harper scared the crap out of the Leftist as he was on the verge of reshaping Canada, but as I have said repeatedly, Stephen Harper didn’t really provide Canadians with an alternative to Liberal dominance in our culture, instead Stephen Harper did a better job managing the economy.
He wanted to slowly introduce Canadians to alternative ways of thinking, too much change too fast, wasn’t Harpers style, which unfortunately for Harper equated to Justin Trudeau emerging as the new face of Canadian Liberalism, wreckless spending an increase taxes, increases in taxes and bailouts for failing entities like the CBC, which continue to be a burden on the Canadian taxpayers. It scares the crap out of the Left to imagine Canadian culture to be reshaped in a more free enterprise system, why? Free enterprise equates to providing value a more responsible Welfare State and alterations to the Public Sector in the event a public service tried that didn’t work as planned is canceled for a privatized solution.
A lot of people in Canada have been working for the Public Sector in some capacity their entire lives, and I’m putting this in its proper context so the reader can visualize a glimpse of the world from a CBC employees perspective, who may have been working there for over a decade. Imagine if the CBC had to go to people and either sell or beg people subsidize them? Have you ever been to thestar.com or huffingtonpost.ca? they have ads like crazy, I can’t stand those websites. Most Canadians can’t stand those news outlets, but because a particular belief system is being force fed down our throats, if Canadians don’t have the time in their busy day to comprehend or imagine an alternative it works in the favor of the CBC to as an example state that “Canada keeps breaking jobs records, but that could end Friday“.
Canada keeps breaking jobs records, but that could end Friday: Don Pittis – CBC
Now, if you only read the title of that article, which a lot of people do, you may assume that the article has nothing to do with the following:
Yes, the above article states the aforementioned, now if you continue to read the article it takes you on a ride, that brings factual economic data into the subjective realms of what type of job data is actually useful. You see if you start to compare Canadian data to U.S data, or if the writer can make the decision for you what a good or bad job is, well then now, you’ve magically justified the reasoning behind job creation statistics data in Canada being based on surveys.
You see as long as their a greater good cause, or as long as there’s a reason behind what could be interpreted as misleading data, coming from Crown Corporation, well then you see why people like me choose individualism over collectivism. Canada has signed onto the Paris accord, and Justin Trudeau appears to be hell-bent on winning by any mean necessary, so for myself, I just want to make sure that I leave my digital trail of the events that may either lead to Canada’s economic revitalization or the economic hell hole that plagues many parts of Europe, Latin America, and Africa.
The main problem with Leftism is what it does to people we become dependent on the Government for their survival, in society there reaches a breaking point, where the numbers don’t make sense and more and more people either look to escape or… become less productive. As an example, a lot of employees turn down overtime hours, why? Because they’ll pay more taxes, a lot of private companies hire a lot fewer people, why? No not just because it’s expensive, but because they could be demonized if they do. This big government culture we have in Canada, buyer beware.
Interesting times ahead!
