The NDP have always had this weird obsession with the decriminalization of elicit drugs. I remember first hearing their arguments on the matter (over 15 years ago) and saying to myself are these people crazy, thank God they’ll never be in power.
In B.C, namely Vancouver, they’ve decriminalized drugs already, in Ontario, you also have to factor in the lack of law enforcement, regarding elicit drugs. These advocates for elicit drugs, act as if the cops are rough with these people, law enforcement has always been lax with drug abusers, in China for example if you’re a drug abuser, that could be a lifetime prison sentence and China has 99%+ conviction rate.
The argument NDP people make regarding elicit drugs is one that revolves around their view of “compassion” for the drug abuser, which includes allowing drug abusers to be around children. If you watch the video above, you’ll notice that the woman is currently located in Buffalo, New York. Not sure what’s up with that, but when you have supposed individuals working for the Canadian public, who don’t live or reside in Canada, one has to think. The CEO of the CBC (a Crown Corporation) Catherine Tait doesn’t live in Canada.
The point I’m making here is that it’s easy to say don’t criminalize drugs when these drugs addicts are peeing, pooping, and doing drugs in your backyard or your community, while you BARK OUT orders from Buffalo because you have the capital to travel or relocate their at your leisure, but some of us are stuck with these drug addicts doing drugs around our CHILDREN. NDP Toronto mayor Olivia Chow, for example is 66 years old and doesn’t have any children, obviously she could care less about what other people’s children have to experience in Toronto, for Olivia Chow I imagine it’s fine that she can run social experiments on Toronto residents while she observes from a distance.
Regarding homeless indigenous people, they unlike any other group in Canada have land reserved for them, the problem with Canada’s First Nations communities, is that many have bee sold on this concept of entitlement, from Left Wing governments, which unfortunately has become the culture many of them of embraced. Feeling entitled is known to fuel drug abuse, as you’re told that you’re helpless and you MUST wait on the power structure to help you.
Obviously the Liberals, make life for the First Nations communities worse, but the NDP make it worse, ignore elicit drugs and let’s talk about the major problem in First Nations communities, which is alcohol abuse. One could argue alcohol abuse is the gateway to elicit drug abuses.
We’re not allowed to bring up alcohol abuse among First Nations, and because we can’t talk about it, it continues to get worse, and now the argument is being made that we shouldn’t be allowed to talk about elicit drugs because that’s RACIST. No solutions provided by the elicit drug pushers, in their minds, we’re making the problem worse, by trying to steer drug abusers in a different direction.
Imagine giving free housing and cradle to grave welfare to a drug abuser? What are we incentivizing by doing that?
Interesting times ahead.
